Charming Atmosphere but Room for Improvement at Tribeca Restaurant & Bar
I recently visited Tribeca Restaurant & Bar, a cozy spot that exudes charm with its intimate setting and live music. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with the music adding a delightful touch that made the experience feel special and relaxing.
The décor and atmosphere are certainly the restaurant’s strengths, creating a space where you could easily spend hours enjoying good food and company. However, there were a few aspects that detracted from the overall experience.
One major issue was the service, which, unfortunately, was far too slow. While I understand that a relaxed pace can sometimes add to the charm of dining, waiting excessively for orders to arrive can become frustrating, especially when the restaurant isn’t overly busy.
Another concern was the allowance of cigarette smoking in the dining area. As much as I appreciated the ambiance, the smell of smoke in a room where people are eating significantly diminished the enjoyment of the meal. For non-smokers and families, this could be a major drawback.
Despite these challenges, the food was enjoyable, and the live music created a lovely backdrop to the evening. With some adjustments to the service speed and a reconsideration of the smoking policy, Tribeca Restaurant & Bar has the potential to become a truly fantastic dining destination.
If you’re looking for a cozy spot with live music and don’t mind a slower pace or smoking in the dining area, it’s worth a visit. However, for those who value quick service and a smoke-free environment, you might want to manage your...
Read moreBy far the worst service ever! I went there with a friend to check it out since it's a new place. At first, when we arrived the place seemed interesting, but then all went bad in so many ways. My friend set on one table and a man who I suppose was the manager run up to her and yelled at her "Get up!" We were shocked. "This table is reserved!" he continued. The funny thing is there wasn't any sign that the table was reserved. We were still in shock and we couldn't comprehend what was happening. I took her hand and we sat at a different table where we waited for 20-30 mins for someone to take our order. We placed our order (fruit salad and 2 coffees) and after what seemed to be a whole eternity (circa 40 mins) we found out that the girl serving us forgot that she has to bring us the order. The only good thing was the second waitress who was very pleasant and nice (and I'm sorry for not leaving her tip but we couldn't wait to get out of there). If I'm paying a price above the average, I sure as hell don't expect the manager to yell at me to get up from a table. I can meet your prices, you can't meet...
Read moreI still cannot grasp the concept of going out at 5pm all dressed up, but anyway, putting that aside, I went there with my sister on a Friday late afternoon and had an amazing time. Slavcho was our bartender and he just mocked up whatever we asked, which was just great. We also didn't have reservation but they allocated an area by the bar for us which was perfect as we had the best strategic position. Interesting moment - when the ceiling opened to release the second hand smoke we were inhaling (oh yeah, they smoke inside bars in Macedonia) and the sun flooded in it felt like a scene from the Dracula the movie. Women were pale with a TON of make up on their faces, and men were all wrinkly and grey looking from smoking. p.s. Stop smoking inside the bars/restaurants and in...
