I had the pleasure of dining at Botanica, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautiful, with lush greenery and elegant touches that create a relaxing and intimate setting.
The food, however, is what truly blew me away. Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and presented with such artistry. You can really tell that the chef is passionate about what they do.
The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that made the experience even better. It’s rare to find a place where everything comes together so perfectly – the food, the ambiance, and the service all exceeded my expectations.
I can’t recommend Botanica enough! This is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Kudos to the chef and the entire team for creating such a fantastic dining experience. I’ll...
Read moreMost of the food was good, must say. Salads were great. The serving staff was very welcoming and tried nicely, as we had a birthday party, which I'm not quite sure was mentioned in the reservation but could have been noticed and explained the "rules of engagement" thus I think the approach should be practiced if customers needed, although a group of 10 not returning wouldnt affect the financial plan, otherwise it's friends and family. The extra charge for cake cutting was a bliss, been traveling a bit more than usual, and it came as surprise. I might not spend time in Mk thus, came as surprise. I'd throw it in after a bill paid. A smile when approaching customers is a virtue, if not a norm. Good luck

Read moreI have mixed feelings about the overall experience. The review is a bit longer only because the restaurant aims high and has some extravagant dishes but is simply rough around the edges.
The waiter tried to be interactive and charming but was simply too intrusive at some moments. Although he gave nice recommendations, he needs to either learn the cuts or the kitchen's selection: he offered us a tomahawk steak, but actually, we got a t-bone steak. Also, he got so excited about the meat that he forgot another smaller order.
The meat was served on a stone-cold plate - a true crime for such a nice cut. The vitamine salad was 90% cabbage, and there were no oranges for a pressed juice. The pork fillet was too dry.
The enterier is a typical closed balcony setting where smoking is allowed.
So, based on what the restaurant tries to "sell," I rate it as average and would definitely recommend other options for that...
