Classy restaurant with a casual fancy ambiance that serves amazing breakfast for guests staying in the village. Great assortment of both warm and cold food.
If you're like me and you can't decide you can have both a fluffy pancake and a thin crepe! They have croissants and pastries as well. Great selection of local berry marmelades. Personal highlight: coconut based chia pudding.
Loved the fresh warm baked bread, warm garlic tomatoes and mushrooms and they had many different cheeses including a local brunost (brown goat cheese) which gets its color from the slightly caramelized higher sugar content of the goat milk.
We were here the night before as well to have a dessert only after having a pizza and they had a very interesting crème brûlée with a hint of that same brunost. Very delicate.
Loved how the staff was genuinely interested in both the food they are serving, the history of the village and the experience of all guests.
Decoration and lighting are really well done and the big large windows really put the village and its surrounding on a pedestal.

Our waiter, Martin, was very knowledgable, friendly and answered all of our questions throughout our meal, including recommendations about the local area, hikes and activities. Excellent wine selection/cellar. Environment is very cozy and comfortable. We also had the breakfast buffet here from the hotel which was incredible - one of the best hotel/resort breakfast I have ever had. Extensive options of healthy, good quality food - smoothies, homemade granola bars, all kinds of nuts/seeds, yogurt, and warm things as well such as fried eggs, sausages, etc. They had crepes one morning as well, which were delicious!...

This took a long discussion with the Manager , who was reluctant. But it having been accepted , when the order finally appeared , the Hollandaise sauce was very much there. In the wine by the glass the Manager declined to let the wine be tasted citing a Norwegian rule saying that alcohol could not be given away free. ( We dined in many restaurants in Bodo, Oslo and in Lofoten itself. No one else had this problem.) The Manager initially friendly and welcoming...
