Sabi Sushi Haugesund — Restaurant in Haugesund

Quite a terrible experience. The interior is nice. We ordered the ARA set and received a great very tasty starter with a genuine seaweed salad. But then we got the sushi. Dry rice, dry fish that tasted like it had been stored with vegetables, dry scampi. Poor quality humid Nori.

Waitress asked if we liked the food and of course we said no and upon questioning we explained why. She said she would find a way to compensate for our poor experience. She came back after talking to the chef and concluded that there was nothing wrong with the sushi, just our taste buds. No compensation which she had already promised (we didn't ask for it), just a waitress that wanted to convince us that our opinion was wrong.

We left. Will never return. Do not recommend. Poor food. Extremely...

Bumped into this place quite rendomly and from then on it is my favorite sushi place in Haugesund.

All that is great: very good and creative sushi options fresh fish and sushi made up to Japanese standards amazing miso soup (trust me, you want to try it) super nice additional sauces for the different varieties of fish very friendly staff that always explains which fish is in which sushi piece very good internet as well clean venue considering it is Norway, the price is acceptable for the quality of the service and food

Bad but doesn't spoil the experience at all: menu is only in Norwegian, but hey, pictures are nice and staff is always willing to...

This is an excellent sushi restaurant. We went in (party of three) just 50 min before they were closung but the sushi was ready just in time for us to finish.
