Orient Pearl Kina restaurant — Restaurant in Lillehammer

Never had bad food at this place, the food is always good and service is very fast as usual. I have been here many times and have tasted different dishes, which are all good. My favourite would be the chicken in karri sauce. The take out tastes about the same. The portions are pretty big, but they have takeaway boxes so you can take home what you did not eat, good for warming up for breakfast or something. Otherwise the service is very fast, 5-10 min usually and it's not too busy because people mostly have takeout. The restaurant hase these lantern hanging from the ceiling which I really like and a nice atmosphere overall. I have returned many times and would return again. (I also recommend having the chicken soup which is part of the starters). The price is about what you expect from Norway, maybe on the cheaper side, however it is definitely worth the money.(the crispy honey beef is also great)

I really enjoyed my experience here. Walking up it doesn't look like much, but once i was inside I was pleased to see how beautifully decorated the resturant was. Additionally, we were seated with a beautiful view of the park that lies kitty-corner to the resturant. On top of all this our food was served to us within 15 minutes of ordering and it was delicious. I am normally pretty skeptical about resturants in Norway as I grew up in the foodie culture of America and have come to expect a certian standard of food for the price I pay. As someone else wrote before,the exterior might misguide you.I would say it's where old China meets old Norway.Nevertheless,if you are hungry and many,this is the place to go as a healthier alternative to cheaper places like Burger King & the Co.Pleasant smiling people working there and...
