Mamma Pizza Lillestrøm — Restaurant in Lillestrøm

We visited the restaurant in the evening with a reservation. We ordered a starter of an Italian delicacies platter, which was tasty; however, the plates for the appetizer were brought to us about 10 minutes after we had almost finished eating. This is not the best service. The main dish was a schnitzel with ham, served with a creamy cheese sauce, potatoes, and vegetables, which was very delicious, fresh, and the portion size was appropriate for the price. The pizza pollo was the weakest part of the evening. The pizza itself, with its dough and sauce, was good, but I expected more from the chicken. The menu states that it’s marinated chicken, but in reality, it was of very poor quality, pre-cooked chicken, similar to what you’d find in poor quality shawarma. This made the pizza taste more like kebab than an Italian pizza. I was disappointed with this topping. A place with “pizza” in its name should pride itself on delicious pizzas, but here they took the easy route by using a ready-made ingredient. It wouldn’t be hard to marinate the chicken breast themselves and have a much better, homemade topping for the pizza. Overall, the food was fresh and tasty, and the prices were reasonable, but the ready-made chicken for the pizza definitely spoiled the final rating. I recently visited an Italian restaurant and I must say, the food and atmosphere were absolutely sensational. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel like I was in Italy. The decor, the music, and the friendly staff all contributed to a truly authentic experience.

And let's talk about the food - it was out of this world! I ordered ravioli porcini and every bite was a burst of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and the dish was cooked to perfection. I also indulged in a delicious cannolo siciliano for dessert, and it was the perfect way to end the meal.

Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Whether you're a fan of Italian cuisine or just looking for a great dining experience, this place has it all. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes....

My son and I felt genuinely welcome and the atmosphere was great, definitive Italian vibe and wonderfully busy. The pizza Napoli was so beautiful, and we were pleasantly surprised by live jazz music on a regular Tuesday.

Another time we reserved a table a couple of days in advance and left a request for a corner table, saying one of the party finds it stressful to have a lot of people around them.
