Taste of Asia — Restaurant in Lillestrøm

Went to celebrate our aunt M last day of being 87, before she turned a lucky 88. Were greeted and seated by Mr Vi who treated us like royalty, served the champagne, took our food order, and presented and delivered with excellence. Then Mr Vi, Mrs Giang, and An the fantastic family who own the Taste of Asia, went above and beyond. They brought our Aunt M a beautifull bun ch of flowers, then a cake with a candle, and complimentry coffee and then all 3 sang happy birthday with gusto, followed by happy birthday on the load speaker, so all of Lillestrom could hear, played 3 times. We were invited to a 75th birthday of a family friend 16.08.25. To our surprise the "Taste of Asia" owner is Mr. Vi, we have know him since he had a restaurant in Strømmen storsenter then met him again in Jessheim storsenter. His restaurant now in Lillestrøm is much bigger, outside seating and the ambience and atmosphere inside is more inviting. The food is excelent and much more for his attention to customer service. As a retired hotelier / Concierges in Oslo, i highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion or event. They have a 150 seating capacity and 2 rooms for private occasion. Var her 17. mai. Det tok nesten 20 minutter før vi fikk bestilt etter vi hadde satt oss og da måtte vi gå til disken å be om bli betjent. Servitøren skyldte på forglemmelsen at det var mange folk. Det var flere ledige bord og ikke fullt.

Da maten kom fikk en av oss feil mat. Servitøren var påståelig og sa det var bestillers feil, men var samtidig løsningsorientert. Det ble ordnet opp i.

Alle var stort sett fornøyd med maten, bortsett fra de som hadde bestilt Crispy Duck. Det var helt ok. De andre var veldig fornøyde.

Tatt de høye prisene i betraktning og at de har en del å gå på når det gjelder service, så finnes det bedre alternativer i Lillestrøm. Ellers er interiøret...
