SMOI - Mandals hemmeligheter — Restaurant in Lindesnes

A very nice pizza and sandwich restaurant in the middle of Mandal Sentrum. The also have a small fully stocked bar. The pizza is fresh and made to order. They also have a good selection of sandwiches and appetizers.

The serving staff is very good and we had a great time there.

The atmosphere is cozy, and somewhat old fashioned with many old pictures of Mandal mounted on the walls, and several corner nooks that you can eat with some privacy. There is a large outdoor area if the weather is nice so that you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the city square and all the people shopping in stores that surround the restaurant.

Take out service is available if you would rather get your food and take it home.

Pricing is fair, but not inexpensive for a family of 4. All in all, I think this is one of Mandal's best restaurants to visit for food, decor...

Vi var der 2 voksne og 3 ungdommer den 21.7.2022. Vi ble møtt av en hyggelig jente ute i gågata som fikset bord til oss. Det var helt fult ute og nesten fult inne, likevel var servitør smilende og blid på plass nesten før vi alle hadde rukket å sette oss ned. Vi fikk bestilt drikke mens vi så på menyen. Gode er andre servitørene som ikke hadde bordet vårt smilte og var blide og hilste på oss. De ansatte hadde en god tone seg imellom og oppmuntret hverandre og hjalp hverandre ut med mat og drikke. De var veldig oppmerksomme mot alle gjester både inne og ute. Vi fikk også med oss at en måtte gå hjem pga sykdom. De andre tok dette med et smil og roste vedkommende for dagens innsats og med ønske om god bedring. Etter en stund kom en ansatt fra Her Redaktør for å hjelpe. Vi fikk servert deilige pizzaer med fyll på så to av oss klarte ikke å spise opp og fikk resten med hjem. Likevel hadde vi plass til dessert….trodde vi helt til vi så de enorme porsjonene! Banansplitt- porsjonene var enorme og det samme var den glutenfri ostekaka. Vi «rullet» stappmette hjem, imponerte over de ansatte som serverte oss deilig mat og dessert. Stort pluss også at den glutenfrie pizzaen faktisk smakte godt og at den glutenfrie kaka smakte himmelsk! Vi kommer...

Very disappointed. Just came to Mandal as a foreigner for a visit and saw SMOI. There were many free tables inside and also outside to eat at 15:30 but was turned away! Not sure if if was because I’m a foreigner, or because I was wearing hiking clothes, but certainly wasn’t because it was full. Such a shame. Won’t be coming here or recommending to...
