The restaurant is centrally located on the pedestrian street in the center of Moss and specializes in steak and meat dishes. The interior is rustic, but appeared somewhat worn and outdated. The cleanliness of the room could also have been somewhat better.
The menu was on the table on arrival and consisted of a good selection of steaks and meat dishes with side dishes. Orders were placed by the guest filling in the name, desired dish, accessories, sauce and degree of frying on a form collected by the waitress. Prices were set at a medium level compared to similar places.
I chose to order entrecote with béarnaise sauce and au gratin potatoes. The dish was served after approx. 15 minutes and had a boring presentation.
The meat was cooked through despite the fact that I asked to have the meat medium fried. The meat also appeared to be tough and did not taste particularly good. The accompaniments in the form of au gratin potatoes, vegetables and béarnaise sauce, did not particularly excel in taste or texture.
The staff appeared cheerful but somewhat reticent and I missed some more interest and commitment for me as a guest. It took some time to get attention from the staff and none of the staff asked if the food tasted or welcomed me back when I left the place.

Stolene og bordene var eldre, men i god stand, men de trenger en oppgradering. Vi blir møtt av en servitør halvveis i døren på veien inn, og blir bedt om å finne oss et bord selv. Servitøren mangler basis servitør kunnskaper, og virker noe usikker, men får pluss for å være hyggelig og komme med alternative forslag til drikke når de ikke serverer min favoritt. Menyen forvirrer meg litt, da det er asiatiske alternativer til foretten, som vårruller og alle retter serveres med wok'ede grønnsaker. Så menyen er ikke helt gjennomført, kanskje fordi de driftes av asiatere? Jeg velger biff selvsagt og ventetiden er innenfor normalen. Det var stille når vi kom, men tok seg opp etterhvert. Med kun én servitør klarte hun denne jobben fremragende. Biff blir bestilt, og maten som kommer bærer preg av å være litt gatekjøkken kvalitet. Selve biffen gir jeg tommelen opp på, men det er alt for mye pommesfrittes og grillkrydder!?!Sammenlignet med andre som big horn etc så virker dette litt mer amatørmessig.
