Italian restaurant located in the new Snöhetta designed building beside Aker river.
Stopped in for lunch and sat outside. Service was acceptable and the food came quickly.
We ordered the calzone, truffle pizza, caprese with burrata and the pasta of the day.
Everyone was satisfied with their food, but the truffle pizza completely lacked any truffle flavor or aroma. When asked, the server was told by the chef that “because the truffles are fresh, there is less of an aroma and taste”. There was however no aroma or taste, so spending 245,- kr for a pizza without the namesake element was a bit of a waste, and the explanation given was not acceptable given that fresh truffles are aromatic and flavorful - hence their high price.
Note that the outdoor seating does not have parasols as of May 2024, so you will get very hot sitting outside. If you are considering coming before they open for indoor seating for the day, you should come prepared for very direct sun exposure.
Quick summary Good: Tasty food, nice location, decent service Bad: Flavorless truffles, expensive

Read moreThe location of this restaurant is very convenient, close to Radisson Blu Nydalen. The interior is typical italian style. The first dish I order was the carbonara, which tasted really bad. The carbonara sauce was fluid and almost like a soup. And the bacon was too salty and full of fat.
The second dish was entrecôte with ruccula salad but the bread they used under the beef was really awful, full of oil and did not taste good.
Thus I am giving this place only 2 stars for the food. The price paid here was 1000kr and not at all...

It's not a radical transformation, because it didn't need one. The dish was prepared beautifully and the people were kind and helpful, accomodating an extra spicy pizza.
It's really great now. My...
