Ti Spiseri&Bar — Restaurant in Sandnes

Bit of a weird experience from start to end. Booking a table was weird. Not being able to find menu or price or description of the set menu before hand. We took it anyway and it turned out to be a lottery. We would not go for the set menu again, at that price (vs a la carte) there's no justification and we weren't expecting so much seafood based upon the websites vague description.

Service was a bit weird. Waiting notably longer than expected for attention and to be seated in a pretty empty restaurant.

Ordering drinks was weird. We were told there was no drinks menu, just a wine list or tap beer, then the table next to us got a drink menu. Then we were able to get one. Several drinks not available due to ingredients missing. Fine but the staff should be briefed what's not available beforehand.

Except for the desert, the food was very tasty. Again, we would not take the set menu next time but instead go a la carte.

All in all left wanting a bit more for the price, table next to us said they were going to macdonald's after and we left in the...

We had a dinner here in saturday evening. Since the moment we came in we were ignored by the staff, person was looking directly to reservations and just ignored us standing right next to him. Looked like people working there have no control and no system how to properly work in a restaurant. I ordered beer twice and it took 30min to get it. Charcuterie board was really nice, but the steaks were terrible. I ordered medium rare and my girlfriend ordered medium well, both steaks was cooked same and were very dry. Serving red wine bottle in branded restaurant white wine glasses!? When we asked for the bill waited additional 15min because waiter just forgot us. Overall place have very nice atmosphere and huge wine list but our experience there...

Came here for date night on a Friday evening and decided to have the set meny, 5 courses. have been here several times before, and it is usually quite good. However, the service is not always up to standard.. This time we got a very young waitress. Nothing wrong with her, but obviously did not receive necessary training. No clue about wine, and very little knowledge about the menu we chose. When we asked for the wine list she actually came and threw it at our table without even loking at us or saying a word. The food was good with balanced flavours. But seriously; a tomato- salad as a part of a 5-course menu?? Also the two fish dishes consisted of the same fish, halibut.
