China Town — Restaurant in Muscat

We visited the China Town Restaurant in Muscat and had a good overall experience. One side we always order, and absolutely love, is the Sesame Seed Vegetable Toast. It’s easily one of the best items on their menu, and we never skip it whenever we come. Crispy, full of flavour, and topped with sesame seeds that add the perfect crunch.

This time, we also tried the Crispy Golden Chicken. While it looked great and the coating was nicely fried, we found the inside a bit too hard to chew. It wasn't as tender as we expected, which made it slightly disappointing compared to the rest of the meal.

The atmosphere is calm and clean, and the service is friendly and fast. Still a nice place to enjoy Chinese food in Muscat, and we’ll keep coming back for that...

A good Chinese restaurant with customised spicy and non-spicy, veg and non-veg dishes. A nice fusion with good taste. A full menu starting from soups and appetizers, main course and then dessert.

Main course has sea food (prawn, lobsters, crabs and fish), chicken, lamb and beef. Assortment of dishes ensuring something for all tastes. Do try jumbo lobsters with gravey and rice on the side. Two dishes but sufficient for two persons.

Nice and ample tables which may not require an advance reservation. Good decor with simplicity and nothing over the top.

Ample parking outside the restaurant. The restaurant has two entrances: one from within the mall and other directly from the parking.

Worst delivery service. Tonight I place order at 8:26pm for home delivery. I have been confirmed that the order will be delivered with 50 minutes. However, I called the restaurant and reminded them it has been more than one and half hour but order has not yet delivered to me and my kids are crying because of hunger. I clearly to the call attendant if the order is delivered within 10 minutes then consider my order as cancelled. I got a call from the raider at 10:35 means after two hours for delivery. I politely told him that I have already bought the food from another restaurant and I cannot take your order as I had already informed the restaurant. Please improve your...
