A theme restaurant in Muscat. The ambience can be appreciated in a way as it really feels in a jungle setup. The sounds and decorum are all jungle based.
You enter the restaurant through a small waterfall inside the jungle. The trees and other arrangements are all plastic but the place has been designed well.
The menu consists of soups, starters, sizzlers, main course and desserts. Make sure you check out for any offers on credit card. This can save you money. There will also be offers in the restaurant such as one soup free when ordering one soup and etc.
The mushroom soup was not that great but the chciekn sweet corn can be adjusted. For the Chinese cuisine lovers, the dragon chicken is a good try and it comes with a small portion of rice.
The Indian dishes such as biriyanis and other curries are all well cooked and tasty.
The kabab was not found to be well cooked , so , be cautious there. Even if they mention it as their signature collection, you will get 5 sticks with 3 prices each for 6.5 OR. I didn't find that much tasty to appeal to any taste buds.
The restaurant closes by 11 pm and by 10:30pm , they would ask for any...

We tried a variety of dishes, and the Grilled Salmon T-Bone stood out as the clear winner—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the rest of the spread didn’t quite hit the mark. The Taco Trail, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Jungle Burger were all fairly average, while the Hunter’s Satay Chicken and the three drinks we ordered fell noticeably below expectations.
On the bright side, the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, which added some positivity to the experience. The outdoor area was refreshing and green, creating a pleasant atmosphere.
However, the menu is significantly overpriced considering the quality of the food, and the furnishings seemed poorly maintained, which took away from the overall charm.
In short, The Jungle Restaurant scores high on ambiance and hospitality but needs to step up on food quality and overall...
Read moreToday we visited The Jungle Restaurant and, unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations. The AC was not working properly, making the dining area warm and uncomfortable, especially for this time of the year. Considering the prices, the quality and quantity of the dishes were disappointing. The portions were very small, making it hard to justify the cost, and the taste was just average — certainly not up to the standard one would expect at this price point.
While the atmosphere and theme of the restaurant are unique and intriguing, it doesn’t compensate for the overall experience. We were hoping for a memorable lunch, but it fell short due to the climate discomfort, underwhelming flavors, and disproportionate pricing.
Extra 22% over the bill amount.
With some improvements in the kitchen and better attention to comfort, The Jungle Restaurant has the potential to be a great spot for a special meal. At the moment, however, it needs to address these key issues to match its pricing and create a more enjoyable experience...
