This branch of the restaurant is as good as the one located in the center of the city. Only order Pakistani cuisine here, and set your expectations low. The food here has a distinct and rich taste. Would consider its slightly over priced for the overall quality they provide and tier in which they operate. Not the best value for money. Ordered the half of Shahi Platter, which is for three persons, the BBQ was decent nothing extra ordinary. It had Mutton Chops, Fish Tikka, Grilled Quails, Beef and Chicken Kebab. The platter had a base of Briyani which was closer to being greasy sweet rice. For gravy we ordered Mutton Qeema, that was absolutely amazing in taste, however it had small pieces of bones, while the quantity was a bit too less for the price charged. Overall the price of Naan and soft drinks was unnecessarily high. They also had a buffet with only two grilled items, while the remaining dishes were also not very impressive. There are two dining halls, in the main hall they had the Buffet tables, and also had live music, which was too loud for the size of the room. We moved to the side room which was less noisy due to a wall. The wait staff were nice, but a bit too pushy in the name of customer service. A waiter constantly circled our table and asking if we needed anything despite clearly seeing we did not require anything. While the management was not nice and...
Read moreOk-ish experience. Staff totally 0 out of 10. Food was soo dry and not spicy at all and most biryani somehow tasted sweet. Leg peices from akbari thali were not very well cooked till Inside. I ordered oreo shake and they gave me a Ferrero rocher shake and refused when I told them what they did. I'm not lying there was a big Ferrero rocher floating on my so called oreo shake and you could taste Ferrero rocher inside it too. Do not really recommend going to. Your choice after all. Interior Is pretty but our sofa was broken. Located around some real estate agencies and wedding halls. Food taste was on lower end of restaurants at this price point. Singer there was very good. Nothing was at all spicy even the chicken chill dry was not spicy. IDK about your experience but mine was not best. Price is not that high but 2500 for buffet per person Is ridiculous I can have buffet at Marriott or PC for a bit more than that. And their buffet selection did not look that big. BTW I did not try buffet. If you like spicy foods do not go here. Handi was not spicy but I liked that but everyone else did not. 5 adults and 3 kids with a lot of leftovers meal cost us...
Read moreI was invited to Anarkali by relatives for an Iftar get-together last Sunday, on March 23, 2025. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a nightmare for me and my family.
The food was tasteless with a limited variety. No fruit chaat was served, nor was there any lemonade available. The dates were of poor quality and looked rusty. The dahi bhallay had no yogurt, making them dry and unappetizing. Only one sweet dish, custard, was served, which lacked any mix-ins and tasted entirely artificial. The chicken curry was terrible—completely flavorless, with broken chicken pieces floating on the surface. The palak paneer was also bland and below average.
The only somewhat decent item was the chicken roast, which was above average in taste, and the mint chutney, which was okay. The rest of the food was disastrous.
Adding to the disappointment, the sitting space was too small to accommodate the large number of guests invited by the hotel staff.
I completely wasted my money and regret visiting this place. I would never go there...
