A Cozy Fusion of Ambiance and Taste
Located in the heart of Bahria Town, Rumba Café is a charming little spot that combines modern aesthetics with a laid-back, intimate vibe. Whether you're visiting for a casual hangout, a coffee date, or a light meal, Rumba stands out for its atmosphere, service, and attention to detail.
From the outside, the café has a clean and contemporary look. As you step in, you're greeted by soft lighting, tasteful wall art, and well-arranged seating that gives off a warm, relaxing feel. It’s a great spot for couples, small groups of friends, or even solo visitors who want to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee.
The interior décor is modern with rustic undertones—wooden textures, exposed brick, hanging plants, and mellow background music create a refreshing escape from the noise and rush outside. It feels thoughtfully designed and invites you to sit and stay for a while.
As for the menu, Rumba Café offers a mix of continental and café-style favorites. From pastas and burgers to sandwiches, steaks, and desserts, there’s something for every palate. Their signature coffees and milkshakes are especially popular. I tried the Spanish Latte and the Grilled Chicken Panini, and both exceeded expectations. The coffee was rich, well-balanced, and perfectly frothed, while the panini was generously filled and served warm with crispy fries.
Another highlight was their Lotus Cheesecake, which was creamy, fresh, and beautifully plated. You can tell they care about presentation—every dish that came out of the kitchen looked Instagram-worthy. Their staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to make suggestions based on your preferences.
The service speed was reasonable, although during peak hours there may be a slight wait. Still, the comfortable seating and overall vibe make the wait bearable. The servers checked in during the meal and were happy to accommodate customizations without hesitation.
Prices are in line with similar cafés in the area—slightly on the premium side but justifiable when you factor in quality, cleanliness, and the ambiance. Expect to spend around PKR 1000–1500 per person for a decent meal and drink.
One small area of improvement could be expanding the menu to include more vegan or gluten-free options for health-conscious visitors. Also, while the outdoor area is cozy, it would benefit from better shade during daytime hours.
Overall, Rumba Café has quickly become one of Bahria Town’s go-to spots for café lovers. Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work with a latte, or an aesthetic space to catch up with friends, Rumba strikes a great balance between style and substance.

Read moreWas looking for Iftar buffets around Bahria, but this year due to lockdowns there are barely any places offering buffets. Luckily stumbled upon Rumba on instagram and saw their post about iftar dinner buffet. Upon enquiry I found out they had a buy one and get second at 50% off on their buffet so I immediately booked.
Their buffet was placed outdoor in their garden area. The weather was beautiful today with chilly winds which made my experience even more satisfying.
While we waited for iftar, we could see them preparing live BBQ and the smells were tantalizing although the smoke was flying all over but can't complain.
They placed dates and two types of drink jugs (fruit punch and limopani), for iftar items they had a variety of chaats, rolls, samosas, pakoray and sandwich (loved them)
Then there was a gap of half n hour for everyone to pray while they prepared the dinner menu placement.
Dinner had a huge variety which included dishes such as various types of salads, Dhaka fish, chipotle wings, creamy chicken, desi BBQ items, chinese options and my favorite alfredo pasta.
For dessert they had pastry, jelly, tart, pudding and mousse. I didn't enjoy the desserts much, the pastries felt a bit dry.. I feel they can work on that area.
To end it all they had steaming hot chai which was just perfect!
Their per head was 1700+tax and second person eats for 50% off (850) So Total damage was around 5200+- for 4 people.
I am definitely re-visiting them again soon!
Overall: Taste 9/10 (one less point for dessert which can be improved) Ambiance 10/10 Service 10/10 Value...

Review: I recently visited Rumba Cafe for dinner in Bahria Town, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The ambiance of the cafe was good, but the food left much to be desired.
I started with the corn soup, which was decent enough, but nothing extraordinary. However, my main dish, the chipotle chicken, was a disappointment. The chicken seemed to be heavily soaked in oil, lacking any distinct flavor. Both the inside and outside were merely coated in sauce, making it an unappetizing choice.
Additionally, I ordered the Arabic dish, quesadillas, which turned out to be a letdown as well. It seemed like there was an overwhelming amount of tahini used, overpowering the flavors and resulting in an unpleasant taste.
Overall, my dinner experience at Rumba Cafe was below par. The quality of the food did not match the expectations, and I left feeling dissatisfied. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and works towards improving the taste and consistency of their dishes.
Please note that this review reflects my personal experience and taste preferences, and others may have...
