I am honestly surprised at the good reviews this place has. The food here is abysmal, to say the least. We ordered the eggs Benedict with turkey bacon. The English muffins were not traditional they were very thick and very soft I don’t think they were English muffins at all. The hollandaise was way way too sour. And I have no idea why an eggs benny was paired with baked beans & an ABOMINATION of a side salad that consisted of plain lettuce topped with strawberry syrup (yes you read that right!), and soggy cold stale potatoes smothered in sauce. While the staff was nice enough to get this dish made fresh again and remove the salad, the potatoes still came cold and stale and everything else still tasted very below par. We did not even eat half of the dish. Honestly if you don’t know what an English muffin is don’t put them in your eggs Benny? Use sourdough?
Then came the worst thing on the menu, the Cripsy Rice Chicken Salad which sounded so good on paper but was so poorly executed. Barely any crispy rice, the chicken tasted SO stale I felt like puking. My friend felt the same way, there was something extremely off. But besides that the salad was served in such a horrendous way, all the veggies were cut up in huge cubes around the bowl with the rice chicken yogurt in the middle. It didn’t look like a salad nor was it easy to mix everything together. And I refuse to believe that the dressing had actual Greek yogurt in it. It would’ve been edible still if the chicken didn’t taste so bad & upon complaining, the staff didn’t care & insisted it was fine, after which I politely asked them to remove the item. They did remove it from the bill.
We also ordered the Parmesan fries, they were very bland. Honestly I would give 0 stars if I could. This restaurant seriously needs to take a look at their food quality, the menu, food pairings & the knowledge of their...
Read moreI recently dined at Sesame, lured in by seemingly glowing reviews, only to be met with one of the most appalling culinary experiences I’ve ever endured. We began with the mozzarella sliders and plain fries—thinking, quite naively, what could possibly go wrong? Everything, apparently. The fries arrived coated in a bizarre batter that rendered them rock-hard and inedible, while the mozzarella had a distinctly rancid, almost rotten taste.
Determined to give the place a fair chance, we ordered the Korean fried chicken burger, steak and eggs (both requested medium), and Lebanese rice. The burger and steak were served well-done—dry, tough, and entirely devoid of flavor. The Lebanese rice was an outright travesty: the sauce tasted expired, the hummus bland, and the chicken flavorless. To make matters worse, the steak sat in a pool of oil, with the mashed potatoes equally greasy. The mint margarita was undrinkable—so bitter and sour it was practically offensive.
As if the food wasn’t disastrous enough, the service was equally incompetent. We presented the BOP World Elite card and were first told it offered a 25% discount, only for a manager to insist it was 50%, before backtracking and confusing it with the Platinum card. The staff then refused to split the bill so we could avail the discount, arguing with us unnecessarily before eventually relenting—only to mischarge us, billing amounts higher than those printed on the menu.
It became painfully clear why this establishment is perpetually empty. Our brunch wasn’t merely disappointing; it left us nauseous for the rest of the day. Save yourself the misery—Sesame is a disaster from kitchen to service, and quite frankly, has no business calling itself...

Order and description:
They gave one basket of toasted bread slices, jam, and butter.
1x Roasted garlic and mushrooms soup 9/10 The soup was super flavourful, hearty and had earthy notes. Loved the soup. The garlic bread along with the soup was ideal, crunchy from the outside, moist from the inside with garlic oil flavour.
1x sesame special breakfast platter 8/10 This consisted of fresh mozzarella, turkey bacon, scramble eggs with tangy salsa, hash browns, mini sausages, spinach, rocket, and lettuce salad garnish. -1 point as hash browns were doughy and not as per expectation -1 A balanced platter MUST have the beans.
Otherwise, the platter was quite good. Portions were definitely filling, and everything tasted perfect minus the hash browns.
1x country fried breakfast 8/10 One fried egg, one scrambled egg, one chicken with "secret" sauce, one very conservative portion of heinz beans,
-1 point for small beans serving.
-1 point for not well matched items in a dish. They should have served a balance of things.
Total bill for all of the above 4698 PKR.
Bonus: they employees were friendly, well mannered. The ambience was satisfactory. The overall...
