Summary: workable if no other options, but not worth it, even if you're trying to stay near the walled city. Unfortunately we did not have hot water 3 out of 4 days, wifi 2 out of 4 days, and they do not have a generator, so the electricity is spotty and it was difficult to charge our phones overnight. That in itself isn't a big deal, however the paint in the room was moldy and flaking, so each morning you would wake up caked in mold. You would want to shower the flakes out of your hair, however even the cold shower was always tricky as the water would cause more of the wall to cascade down on you (see videos). It's unbelievable that management doesn't know about this and chooses not to use a wire brush to remove the flaking wall or simply repaint. For the price and lack of hot water, wifi, and stable electricity, I would suggest another property. We stayed at some other hotels further south and they were much more enjoyable for the same/cheaper price. If you want to stay near Anarkali bazar (which if you're a foreigner, I would suggest staying in a different area, as for us, this bazar was the least friendly area of Lahore and feels much more like India with scams then the lovely warmth you will experience everywhere else in Pakistan), there are lots of other hotels not listed on Google maps/booking. I would have given one star, however the manager was quite professional and courteous when we had a miscommunication, so I want to give credit to such a kind and generous man who is managing such a poor property.

Nestled in a prime historical location, this hotel stands out as a remarkable option for travelers seeking an economical yet enriching stay. Just a few hundred meters away from Anarkali Bazaar and the vibrant Food Street, the hotel offers easy access to two iconic landmarks of Lahore. History enthusiasts will appreciate the hotel's proximity to the rich cultural heritage of the area, making it a perfect base for exploring the historical treasures of the city. From the colonial charm of the nearby streets to the bustling bazaar brimming with stories. Area of improve is maintenance.

Rating: ★★★★☆ I recently stayed at Tourist inn hotel with my family stay two nights here, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-decorated.The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, catering to various dietary preferences.I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

I've never had the horrible and bad experience ever in any hotel around the world I've been, but in this awful hotel had it, but very bad.|On the hotel website didn't said that you have to pay in advance, on every hotel I've been I've paid on the checkout, not before.|From the first day I arrived the hotel was in darkness, not light, the lift didn't work etc.|The following day the receptionist start asking for payment, that goes on for the first week but I refused to pay any money, they become so rude when asking for payments, then after that week I decided to pay for the week I already stay, other receptionist was on the desk, he handed me the paymachine to enter the pin, I did it then handed over the machine, my card still on the machine, I don't know what he does in the machine but he handed the payment card back to me.|When in the room, I've check the transaction through my online banking system, I find that the receptionist empty my bank account completely, of thousand of British Pound which was a lot of money.|Then I went back downstairs to made the complaint which he respond that he didn't do anything wrong, he don't even recognized his mistake or I don't know if he did that under the manager instruction which I believed after other bad experiences happening, the manager (owner) of the hotel wasn't there at that time, but in the morning I went back to the reception and he was there together with the guy who did that.|The manager was not very apologetic but he said that I have to wait until the following day (Monday) to go to talk to his bank manager.|This bank manager said that it's nothing he can do, instead he suggested to go to the people who control all the debit and credit card payments in Pakistan. We went there which was too far away from the hotel, they was very helpful, immediately they proceed to do the necessary procedure to asked for that money refund to my bank account.|It was not straight forward, I have to wait about 8 days (without any money) to get my money back. This manager acting very suspicious to me, he acting like he was a honest person but he was not.|On the day of departure that early morning I've fell very sick, I call a cab who took me to the nearest hospital, I'm stay there for about 5 hours, then I went back to the hotel in order to do my luggage an a hurry. ||I check everywhere in that hotel room for anything belongs to me, I can find nothing, on return to my home I realized that some of my cloths was missing, I contact the hotel, the manager said that he will "investigate" but instead of investigate his staff he investigate my whereabouts when I left the room, he sent the video of the CCTV recorded but only show myself on it, not sign of his staff left my room with my cloths.|Manager become so rude when I asked to refund for that, he said that never he will send me any money as he trust his staff entirely.||I DON'T RECOMENDED THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL IN LAHORE, BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU READ THAT IT'S ON A VERY GOOD LOCATION, THAT IS THE BEST OF THIS AWFUL HOTEL, EVERYTHING ELSE RELATED TO THE HOTEL IS NOT WORT IT. |Most of the time there is not electricity, they don't clean the room unless you tell them, the shower never work, hot water... you have to ring the reception in order to have it, then you have to wait almost an...

GOOD:||Outstanding service at the desk. Room was spacious and clean. Instead of cabs ask them to call an uber (cheaper). If catching taxis or auto-rickshaws (latter is cheaper but negotiate price before you get in; often halve their first quote) back, best to say Anarkali, Food St rather than Hotel Tourist Inn. The hotel wi-fi good in the lobby and patchy in the room. Fridge cold; air con and fan great. Breakfast was a la carte of very good potato or veg curry, fried egg, pre-cooked omelette and strong but good milk tea. However the best aspect about the hotel is the surrounds. Our hotel is a block from tourist st (also called Food St) and the anarkali market. The 55pkr lassis are as good as the best in India; the 5pkr clay oven chapatis on the corner and the 20pkr tea we partake every day. The 70 pkr channa pulao is the very best pulao I have ever had. The Chicken biryani at Tourist St 130pkr is also fab. Chicken karahi and chicken boti are outstanding; half serves of 350pkr are enough. The anarkali market is a great stroll through clothes, fabrics, perfumery. Nearest metro is MAO College; costs 130pkr(refundable) for a Punjab Transit Card (20pkr per trip) and it allows you to go on the feeder buses (5-15pkr); all are A/C and opens up Lahore for the traveller.||NOT SO GOOD||Hot water was warm rather than hot but would be OK for the warm months. ||ELECTRICITY: at least 3 times a day the public electricity shuts down, usually for 10-50 min. This si not the hotel’s fault. The hotel has its own generator so fan & TV remains but...
