I rarely write bad reviews and give benefit of doubt whenver I have a bad experience. But my first visit to Nayab forced me to write this. After I got deceived by the google reviews, I hosted my friend and her wife at the restaurant on Friday 2nd Feb, 2024. We were 4 people and ordered Lahori Mutton Karahi Chicken Reshmi Kabab Club Sandwich
Club sandwich was the worst, we nearly puked after having a single bite. To double check whether it is with the dish or the person eating has just felt, all four of us took a bite to see and wallah it was worst thing I could have eaten, it appeared that its batter has raw uncooked egg with extreme odour and bad taste. We asked waiter, first he tried to tell us that club sandwich has egg so it would have taste as well like we were eating a sandwich first time. Khair, he asked us if we want anything else instead of this, we ordered chicken sandwich this time and confirmed that it wont have this egg taste and wallah he brought the same bad taste sandwich again.
Then comes mutton, the meat was not properly cooked so it had smell. have you even seen a mutton karahi full of boneless mutton with large meat chunks? the karahi barely had two bones, it tasted like veal not mutton, it appeared like they had mixed the little bit of mutton and veal.
Reshmi kabab were good, Shukar hai. I felt really embarrassed in front of my friend and his wife for the experience. The bill was 10k, and believe me it was not worth it.
I'd urge the management and owners to keep a check on your kitchen and ensure the quality and taste. and please inform me what kind of mutton karahi has large meaty chunks and no...
Read moreI’d give 0/5 if I could for the food and service if I could. Absolutely horrible. I left a detailed review on my IG and their IG team even saw my stories and didn’t bother reaching out to ask what happened. They served us Prawn Masala ‘BIRYANI’ without rice lol and then our server argued with us that this dish doesn’t come with rice and which I completely didn’t understand lmao and their menu clearly says the dish has Basmati rice. The manager was decent but none of them had any idea about the menu at all. On top of that, our server also missed one dish and then continued to argue that we didn’t place an order for said dish when we did. I took my parents to their birthday+anniversary dinner there and imagine my shame when big blunders like this were happening. I mean okay fine you made mistakes but continuing to argue and then putting it on us saying we didn’t place an order for the dish was what really annoyed us. And our server even went so far with her arguing to say she’ll bring the card on which she took our order and she went and came back without it, arguing the same. The manager was decent and didn’t charge us for the rice himself but overall, everything we ordered was a hard 5/10 and the service from the waiters was a definite 0. Please improve your services. The ambience was so good, we were really pleased with the restaurant as in terms of its location and look but that was easily washed over by the...
Read moreI recently hosted a birthday party at Nayab's, a gem of a desi Pakistani restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was simply exquisite; every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The Achari Handi and Lahori Karhai were rich and flavorful, while the Chilman Biryani was perfectly spiced and aromatic. The Seekh Kebab was tender and juicy, grilled to perfection. Every bite transported us straight to the heart of Pakistan. The freshly baked naan and the creamy raita were perfect complements to our meal.
The service was equally impressive. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations that did not disappoint. They also went above and beyond to accommodate our birthday party, making sure every guest felt special.
The ambience of Nayab's is another highlight. The decor beautifully reflects Pakistani culture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Soft, traditional music playing in the background added to the overall charm, making it a perfect spot for celebrations.
The prices were way too reasonable for the succulent food served. Highly...
