Overall it was a worst experience ever. Visited this restaurant today. The order taking guy was insisting for the up selling. During meal, he came 2, 3 times to ask for drinks. We were ok, but with guest it was an ashaming thing that a person is asking again and again and I am not providing that to my guests. Anyway we ordered 3 glasses of mint margarita. At the time of bill we were surprised that the simple mint slush was billed 650/ glass and 1950 for 3 glasses. Can you imagine, how much actually simple mint water in the form of slush costs? Hardly 50-70 rupees. Now the actual story comes here. We didn't even opened the mineral water bottle, but they even charged us 270 for mineral water. I didn't notice at the bill time. They didn't even handed me over the bill. By going out, I just reminded that we didn't opened water and they charged me. Then by consulting at counter they refused me 270. I have had their hi-tea 3 times in the past 6 months at this branch. The menu is the same. Fried fish is very tasty, but it has more batter and less fish. The mini seekh kebabs are always cold and undercooked, and i don'tknow why they stink a lil bit. Tikka boti is good. Salads are all tasty and fresh, but the chinese items in the hi tea are all average. Pasta is also average and its sauce is too diluted, garlic chicken just ok, manchurian is just chicken in ketchup, chowmein is over-cooked with less chicken. And why is there no soup? At least hi-tea should have 1 soup in the menu. Overall it is economical as compared to other hi-teas. However, since there is hardly any variety in the menu (there are literally like 5 main food items) so the price is just right. But i hope they improve the taste and quality of the food items.
