Chung Pa Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Rawalpindi Cantonment

I went to this restaurant with my family. The food there was baddest ever I have eaten as the next morning we all got food poisoning. I do not know that which ingredients are mixed in the food especially garlic prawns. They mixed almonds in all foods. The nestle bottles of mineral water were not sealed and were filled with ordinary dirty tank water. More over the cold drinks contain half drink and half water. Its my request to the owner to please check the quality of foods every day and I will give a suggestion to all the people who want to try to check it, please do not ever try it if you do not want to get sick. please please please please please please!!!!!!!!!!!! think about...

This restaurant is a mystery. It used to be Rawalpindi's favourite Chinese restaurants, but something mysterious happened. Now no one is even sure if it is open anymore. Whenever I go there it is closed. I am not surprised that even when it is open food tastes awful. I think the owners can explain what happened. Even more sad is the fact that it's competitor Mei Kong is also rapidly going downhill. Sadly if you want good Chinese restaurant Bahria Town is the only option left in Rawalpindi and I am not sure how long this will last with eventually Bahria Town Chinese restaurants going the same way as Chung Pa and...

It seems time have stopped for them, used to visit regularly in 2013 to 2015. Visited this place yesterday i.e. 23 Sep 2022, there is is no improvement, the ambiance looks seedy and old. The food is definitely un platable. Ordered the Chef speciality Chung Pa special soup, the three of us couldn't even finish half of the bowl. The jumbo fried prawns were cold and soggy, the chung Pa special fried chicken was yucky..... The excellent service was the only saving grace. Previously the waiting period to get a table was min 20 minutes, yesternight the there were only 3 tables occupied with grand total...
