A good place to sit in and eat the food. But that place is just fine according to area, where it is located.

If you are a classy eater, and bring your family or ladies with you to eat, then don't take the family or kids to this place.

It's not the place to visit with your family. Food is just old style, not very good hygiene. Prices are high, but the quality is not that level.

I'd give just 3 stars, out of 5.

We tried Palao Rice, but now the style of Palao has been changed completely in Rawalpindi and Islamabad because of First of all Savour Foods, and then Bao Jee Palao, Mian Jee Palao, Sain Jee Palao etc. But they still have not changed any improvement in their rice. I'd say, that we must not call it Palao even, as they are giving you CHANNA CHAWAL just an additional FRIED CHICKEN LEG PIECE on the top, with Sour Curd and pieces of onion sprinkled along. I don't think that these things make a rice to be able to be called as Palao.

This is one of the oldest food spots in Rawalpindi, right near Hathi Chowk in Chota Bazar. They're known for their delicious channay and rice pulao, which is quite unique. The pulao comes with cholay curry and white raita mixed with salad. You can even add shami kebabs and select your preferred chicken piece, whether it's the leg, thigh, or chest.

They also serve cholay with naan and a side of raita salad. If you're not in the mood for that, they offer other food options too. On weekends, you can enjoy halwa puri and nashta. If you're looking for that authentic desi Pindi taste, this place is a must-try.

However, parking can be a bit tricky, so it's best to park a bit farther away and walk. The seating area might not be the fanciest, but it's got that old-school charm.

I am going there from 15 years, they are renown for their traditional Chicken Channa Pulao. Aftee that they have started various other dishes but their traditional offer stands out. Its economical, ready to eat so that you dont have to wait for serving. Parking could be an issue during working hours as you have to park on your own risk along road. Sitting is reasonable, not much lavish but justified and clean. I always prefer it with friends, you can also go with your family as well but due to their casual style I dont prefer it for family.
