I went there on a Saturday afternoon around 5 pm with my mother. When we arrived, a waiter greeted us and offered us a table in the main hall, which we happily accepted. He also mentioned that there was a high tea event going on, but since the first main hall was full, we were fine with sitting in the second one if there was an available spot. The waiter then told us we could stay in the main hall only if we were joining for the High Tea, but that wasn’t our plan, we were there for lunch. He then mentioned that there was a table available downstairs in the café (coffee shop) and we followed him there.
The café was nicely decorated, noting over the top, but just enough to create a cozy vibe. The waiter handed us the menu and left us to decide. We ordered the BBQ platter, which included Chicken Kebab, Fish Tikka, Chicken Boti, Malai Boti, Chicken Gola Kebab, and Grilled Mutton Chops, all served with Kabuli Pulao (two pieces each). The platter cost 3299 PKR. It was definitely enough food for two people and could probably serve even three. The food took about 35-40 minutes to arrive, which I thought was pretty reasonable, especially since most of the staff were busy serving the high tea guests upstairs.
Our dedicated waiter Qasim was very nice. He was polite, friendly, and always attentive whenever I called for his assistance. He made our experience even better. When the food arrived, the rice was hot and the BBQ platter was sizzling. Everything tasted fresh. The kebabs and botis were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I think the rice could use a little improvement. Since it was labeled as Kabuli Pulao, I would’ve liked to see more sliced carrots, raisins, and maybe a bit of meat mixed in, but it still tasted pretty good.
We also ordered drinks with our meal. I had a Peach Margarita, and my mother had Mint. The Peach Margarita was pretty tangy, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but the Mint Margarita was much better. The best part was that the drinks were complimentary, which was a nice surprise. After we finished the main course, my mom had a Vanilla Latte. She liked it, but it wasn’t my favorite.
I don’t remember the exact total bill, but I think it came to around 4500 PKR. Overall, the experience was definitely worth it and much better than some of the flashier, overpriced places in Bahria Town that focus more on appearances than the actual food. Also, I almost forgot to mention that the view from the restaurant is amazing since it's located at a higher elevation. You get a great view of Bahria Town!
Kallisto is definitely a Must Try.

Read moreWe came here and were highly disappointed with our very poor experience. Despite me taking a photo of the receipt a week earlier this time the prices had rocketed upwards. Last time we were charged 5k plus and this time 6k plus for the same order what a rip off.
Service was utterly poor. They had some wedding going on and I didn't understand why they couldnt just do it at there Kallisto marquee which is just at the bottom near the Bahria exit. The entire nikkah ceremony which was taking place inconvenienced us because we usually sit inside. Instead we were guided outside were the sun was blazing on our faces and the waiters no where to be seen.
When the waiter arrived I showed him the previous receipt of which I had taken photo of during my previous visit and so he wrote down the same order and disappeared for a long time only to be later found on another floor after I went looking for him. (Good job I didn't send out a search party for the waiter)
When our starters came which took 45 minutes to arrive even then we had to ask 4 times for our drinks to arrive. Then they didn't bother giving the extra salad we ordered and instead the waiter started arguing saying we should have it with the chicken handi even though we rather prefer it with our starters. No dips were given and to make matters worse we waited approximately 2 hours for our order to fully arrive at our table.
A manager who wears a wig did come to the table but he was highly unprofessional offering no apologies or explanation as to why my order had taken so long to arrive, clearly they were too busy in serving the nikkah ceremony instead of there actual customer base.
In the end we made a mistake and instead of going to The Monal which has better service, better quality food and overall a better views.
I would recommend to avoid coming here as it's a disappointment. They are not the same as they use to be and the food quality has dropped considerably along with the very poor customer service.
Below is a photo of how dried out there plain Nans had become after the such a long wait and non existent customer service where no waiter was around all clearly serving the nikkah ceremony. They might as well just make it a marquee and not bother serving the main regular customers who have come out with there...
Read moreThis restaurant has NOTHING SPECIAL, its not accessible (No Elevator so you have to climb at least 40 steep steps till the first level which has limited space so add 20 more steps to main seating area), and this place is excessively overpriced. Not having accesiblity option in this day & age is unacceptable for a high end restaurant. Cleanliness is Zero, Hygiene is compromised, Staff are nice, Food Quality is just OK not exceptional, Ambiance is killed by the unclean environment. They have tried to copy Monal but have sort of lagged behind considerably. Their seating including seats sofas, and evem the floor was dirty (needed cleaning), cuttlery & napkins both looked unclean and rather old, while the height of chairs is questionably low. Food serving time was fine, although had to return the appitizer as a hot item was served cold. The Bar B Q was served in hot plates that was good. Food taste was fine. Drinks were highly overpriced, while their presentation & the serving glassware was poor. Staff are nice, cooperative, and efficient. They help in improving your overall experience. Wont strongly recommend this place as it will be merely wasting a lot of money on a place that sells largely for its views, that too mostly of roads & lights. If you do however come, dont venture in to non-desi items, as this place does not show any potential to make other cusines well. It has a very Greek name and an overwhelming desi vibe. These views are solely based on my personal experience. Please do read reviews by...
