There are only few places which are simply perfect. This resturant has perfection in every aspect. Whether it be their food quality, food taste, ambiance, staff and their attitude. Everything was beyond perfection. I arranged dinner at another resturant and on last minute they told that they are short of some items so in an emergency i changed venue to Tandoori dha 1. Believe me its best decision that i made. We ordered fish tikka, malai boti and chicken kebab in bbq and everything was super hot fresh and delicious. We also ordered multani chicken handi and it was v savory and just melted in mouth. The tandoori special matka biryani is as special as its name. It was full of flavors and awesome aroma literally scrumptious. This is by far most flavorfull and yummiest biryani in twin cities Their palak paneer was the best i have ever tasted in any resturant. Best thing their staff was so hospitable, warm welcoming attitude from the guards to each and every server. I wanted to meet manager to specially appreciate his team's work. You can see them cooking right in front of you in open kitchen this firms your belief in their quality. Sops were all followed appropriately. I really appreciate their v nice gesture of keeping a wheelchair near entrance so that guests can use in case of need. That's one of services that is scarce in Pakistan and these small gestures are appreciated. Each nd every staff member was asking reviews about food and services. And everyone in staff in their capacity introduced the services provided by tandoori resturant like outdoor catering, sunday brunch and hi-tea etc. I definitely highly highly recommend this place for yummilicious quality and fantastic food. And to mention They also served extremely yummy peshawari qehwa with jaggery (gurr) at the end complimentary. Its really...
Read moreThis place is situated at a short distance from my home. I had to take a few friends for iftar so I made reservations on phone. Tandoori utilizes a road for parking space. They have security personnel who assist in parking. The restaurant is adequately decorated. The colors and theme are not very impressive though. The first floor has open as well as covered dining areas. The food was laid out in an open area since we opted for a buffet iftar. Menu was wholesome consisting of egg fried rice, seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, manchrian, chow mein, vegetable fried rice, daal, beef korma, naans, chicken curry, an assortment of salads and lots of sweet dish. Each table was served rooh afza though I found it to be lacking a bit in taste. For iftar a water bottle and dates were served. Buffet for iftar included pakoras, fruit chat, dahi bha lay and chana chat. Both black and green tea was laid out on a separate table. The total per head is like Rs 2500 which isn't bad considering the number of items served. Food hygiene was good. The utensils and cutlery I found to be clean and tidy. Staff was courteous and helpful. I was told that they do accept credit and debit cards but today they asked for cash which is really a downer for a restaurant like this. The waiter told me the machine had malfunctioned. I'm not sure if this way the case but when you're dealing with so many customers you better have not one but many machines. Card based payments mean you save on GST something which was denied to all guests at least today. Please get your...
Read moreLocated in DHA phase 1 Rawalpindi. I dined at the Tandoori restaurant with friends for their buffet, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. Situated along the not-so-pleasant-smelling Soan River, the restaurant boasts an aesthetically pleasing construction that gives it a majestic appearance. The interior is tastefully done, creating an impressive ambiance with attractive décor. Opting for their high tea, we found it to be average. While there was a good variety of items, the well-loved ones were slow to be refilled, resulting in long waiting times. Despite assurances from the attendants that refills were imminent, it left us unimpressed. The cooking quality was okay, but nothing that would entice us for another visit. On a positive note, the ambiance of Tandoori restaurant in DHA 1 is truly awesome, with great-tasting food and excellent service. It's a must-try place. Designed for meetups and gatherings of around 40 people, the restaurant offers a separate corner for family birthdays—simply decorated yet classy. Featuring light music, a central fountain, and cozy seating, the outdoor space is a delightful place to sit. The beautiful interior adds to the overall appeal, making it a worthwhile visit. The scrumptious food, diverse menu offering salads, barbeque items, fish, Chinese cuisine, and desi tarka, ensures a memorable dining experience. Truly a place worth...
