Beware of what you eat and where you eat while you're here. Not all the eateries are good in taste and hygiene. What I'd recommend here are as below. If you want to eat "Paaye and/or Chanay", Lahore 0 Kilometer is your place. They are open almost 24/7 (not sure but I guess as I have visited them at 2-3-4-5-6 in the morning and they were always open and serving). If you want to eat "Nihari", Kala Khan Nihari is the only place to try at (they do not have any branches or outlets in the food street or out of the food street) also they are open for limited hours in the morning so check the schedule from someone who lives there or preferably go at around 5-6 in the morning. Next up is "Lassi", if you love to get drunk with lassi then Kashmir Milk and Lassi is your place. We had best chatkahara or Twwa Chicken from " Abid Chatkhara" in Ramazan (not sure if they still serve after Ramazan) but they had the best one in Pindi/Islamabad.
