(Please read till the end where I recommend two hidden gems of Melody Food Park) The Melody Food Street/Park is a dedicated area where various restaurants and vendors provide some of the best food Islamabad has to offer. It is perhaps the oldest food street of Islamabad with a history most Islamabadians who settled here since the inception of the new modern city. Although mostly local cuisine, some Chinese and Italian cuisines are also available. The park wakes up early in the morning and provides desi (local) breakfast and the tables are mostly occupied with government staff as the location is in very close proximity to government offices. There are two vendors (pictures attached), that I feel are hidden gems and are worth going to. First one is "Bengali Samosa" whose samosas are definitely worth trying. The mince meat inside just melts in your mouth. He keeps his station clean as well. The other is a vendor who sells fruit salads. He's right opposite "Bengali Samosas". Please let me know if you try my recommendations and if you liked it by leaving a review of your own. Thanks!

Melody Food Park in Islamabad offers a diverse dining experience with both pros and cons. On the positive side, the food park boasts a vibrant atmosphere, creating a lively setting for visitors. The variety of food stalls and cuisines cater to different tastes, providing a wide array of options. The outdoor seating and occasional live entertainment add to the overall ambiance. However, the inconsistency in food quality across stalls is noticeable. While some dishes impress with flavors, others fall short, creating a mixed culinary experience. Additionally, the service can be hit or miss, affecting the overall satisfaction of the visit. Melody Food Park, with its eclectic offerings, provides a dynamic dining space, but patrons should be prepared for variations in both quality and service.

A decade ago, this place was the top rated and most visited place of Islamabad when it came to dine out preference. Over the period of time, especially due to many new dining options in the city and this place with declining quality and hygiene has completely lost attraction of local visitors. Despite the presence of renowned food outlet branches like Refreshment Centre, Savour Foods and Sufi Restaurant you will hardly find any old Islooite enjoying the dining experience during any time of the day. A few Quetta Tea Hotels, the most hygienic food outlet of Melody i.e. Capital Restaurant and renowned food outlet of Rawalpindi i.e. Corner Food is still among the dine out attractions of Melody Food Park.

Melody Food Park in Islamabad is a culinary gem that beckons food lovers with its diverse range of flavors, vibrant ambiance, and an array of delectable cuisines. Nestled in the heart of the city, this food park offers a one-stop destination for a delightful gastronomic experience. Having recently visited Melody Food Park, here's my review of this bustling food haven.

One of the standout features of Melody Food Park is its impressive selection of food stalls and eateries, offering a wide variety of cuisines to satisfy every palate. From local Pakistani delights such as succulent kebabs, aromatic biryanis, and piping hot naans to international flavors like Chinese, Italian, and Middle Eastern, there is something to suit every taste and preference. The sheer diversity and quality of food available make it a haven for food enthusiasts.

The ambiance at Melody Food Park is vibrant and lively, with a mix of indoor and outdoor seating options. The open-air seating areas are particularly enjoyable, allowing visitors to soak in the pleasant weather while indulging in their favorite dishes. The park also hosts live music performances and occasional cultural events, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The food quality at Melody Food Park is commendable, with most vendors focusing on freshness, taste, and hygiene. Whether you crave a juicy burger, a flavorful biryani, or a refreshing fruit smoothie, you'll find vendors who take pride in serving high-quality food. The prices are generally reasonable, offering value for money.

One of the advantages of visiting Melody Food Park is the opportunity to sample various cuisines in one location. It provides a platform for foodies to explore and experiment with different flavors and culinary experiences, all within a single visit. Whether you're seeking traditional Pakistani dishes or looking to indulge in international fare, the food park caters to a wide range of preferences.

However, the popularity of Melody Food Park often results in large crowds, especially during peak hours or on weekends. This can lead to longer waiting times and a bustling atmosphere. It is advisable to plan your visit accordingly, perhaps opting for a weekday visit or arriving earlier in the day to secure a comfortable dining experience.

In conclusion, Melody Food Park in Islamabad is a haven for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse selection of mouthwatering cuisines in a vibrant setting. The range of flavors, the lively ambiance, and the quality of food make it a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. Whether you're seeking a quick bite or a leisurely meal, Melody Food Park promises a delightful culinary journey through its many food stalls...

Islamabad: The ‘neglected’ Melody Food Park will be revamped to provide visitors with the best facilities in line with international standards.

According to the details, the head of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed the relevant officials to make a plan to revamp the Melody Food Park and present it before the CDA Board. The visitors often show their concerns about the lack of proper seating arrangements and cleanliness level at this spot that is still one of the favourite food points of the people living in the capital city.

The revamp will include renovation, construction of pavements, beautification of entry points, availability of modern seating arrangements, and necessary facilities for both summer and winter seasons. There is also a proposal to set up stalls of handicrafts in the park to provide employment opportunities to women.

The Food Park has not been renovated for the last eleven years. Set up in 2002 in the G-6 Markaz, the park had remained a go-to destination for the food enthusiasts of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI government announced funds worth Rs10 million for the renovation of the Melody Food Park in 2020. The plan was not properly materialized and failed to yield desired results. But this time the civic agency will carry out renovation work from its own financial resources.

An official said “The Melody Food Park is one of the busiest food spots and a large number of people come here to enjoy different kinds of food. Now we are planning to make it more attractive by providing all necessary facilities to the visitors.”

But the things we get here are very tasty and after some time it is chance that it will change in to one of biggest food place...
