After a bad experience last time. After more then 3 years decided to eat at BBQ tonight Islamabad but unfortunately restaurant has decided not to improve itself, so far. The food was average, quantity has reduced and seeing the rates one expect something good to eat but the food they serve is as average as you can have from any roadside hotel. We ordered Beef Qeema Nan, Chicken Handi, Chicken Tikka, Chapli Kebab and fresh Salad. Salad costed as high that one can easily have a side dish in another same standard restaurant but what BBQ Tonight served was a cucumber, a tomato and few onion in a plate. We used to enjoy BBQ Tonight fresh Salad which used to have assorted salad veggies like beetroot, lemon, salad leaves, raddish, carrots or iceberg in addition to cucumber and tomato etc. Handi was sufficient for two persons only woth very average taste. We liked Chicken Chapli Kebab. The height of disappointment was Qeema Naan, it was reduced to a small naan cut into thin slices but it was not even sufficient for one person. Previously, it use to be a 18-20 inch naan, what they serve us was hardy 6-8 Inches in diameter. The restaurant is in superiority complex thinking that they have become a status symbol so they provide/serve less and charge more. I can assure you BBQ Tonight Karachi is the only branch worth visiting, BBQ Tonight Islamabad needs to learn how to serve customer at least they must respect the money of customers. Whatever, they wanted they charged but still they are not providing food which one can expect from restaurant of thia stature, still saving money by reducing serving sizes and quantity. Lastly, we also wanted to order soup and humus but they were not having those. A leading restaurant have something on menu which they did not have cooked. I have seen, Islamabadians are happy to pay more and never asked for service but like to show off while hosteling, therefore never complained. Being an Islamabadians, I appreciate Karachiates because they won't compromise on standards thus food restaurants in Karachi are much better and serving well.
