PRESTO — Restaurant in Zone V

If you want to wait for 1.5 hour for your breakfast to be served along with flies and mosquitoes humming in your ears. Please visit PRESTO CAFE. We dined in at 9:55 and were served at 11:30 am. This long wait for poor ambiance and average meal. Upon entering, I exactly went to counter for “Self Service” and placed order right away so order can be done in time as we were famished. Asked staff to stop ac swing and they accidentally turned on heat mode which gave us hot flashes. Although yes, manager / owner did apologised . Flies were another thing , as manager asked us to give them two minutes for flies hunting but alas ! It was of no use.

What we ordered: 📍Philly Steak omelette x 1 📍Belgian Waffles x 1 📍Cappuccino x 1

Yes, you read right. For this simple order they took 1.5 hour , and served breakfast at noon time. All staff were busy in catering one table on the left corner with some elite class customers (Social Stratification at peak).

Nothing was served in the mean time , no complimentary water or plain biscuits. Asked serval times how long it will take and each time we were told only 5-7 minutes.

Coming to the breakfast:

📍Philly Steak Omelette Platter

The only good thing was egg which was nicely done. Rest of the items were total bland.

They forgot to put salt in Hash browns mixture which made them like boiled potatoes.

Moreover a fly wanted to taste omelette as well so she took her share and we had to remove the upper layer of omelette and the bread slice.

📍Belgian Waffles

Again, while ordering asked them if the Waffles are served with ice-cream or just maple syrup as we didn’t want to have ice-cream this early , upon asking we were told that it’s served with maple syrup. However when the order came it was with ice-cream. Moreover, Waffles are supposed to be crispy from edges and not soggy but in this case it was all bland and soggy. There was no crisp.

Had to ask for packing and yes i did inform the staff about salt-less hash browns but it wasn’t replaced. Waffles were packed with icecream, who does this?

📍Coffee Too strong for my taste buds. They replaced it luckily.

📍Ambiance: Loud music at morning Full Flies and mosquitoes Pathetic services Saw a staff scratching and touching face, hair with bare hands and then touching crockery and handling orders.

The staff commented that they got order for 40+ people that’s why it took time to serve our order . If you are after big orders and more money you should straight away tell two people to leave the cafe. Manager did apologized but that is of no use because it costed us time , money and hunger pangs and ruined our morning.

We tried to make a call prior to dine in but they didn’t receive and upon contacting on messenger we were told that we can dine in any time.

Never going there again. Never!! Be it Tuscany, Chicago Grill, Sage or Crema , if they are late in order they do serve complimentary tea or some snack so customers just don’t sit their like a manic.

This is not done. Business doesn’t mean to open a place with great interior and loud music. Management is a real thing.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH - The service at Presto is truly exceptional — a rare find these days.

Our waitress, Aizel (AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A PERSON), was nothing short of phenomenal. Attentive, warm, and genuinely caring, she made the entire experience feel personal and heartwarming. Her presence and care elevated the meals into something truly memorable.

Food & Beverage Quality

Every dish we tried was outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. The hummus was creamy and fresh, the pulled beef sandwich and club sandwich were packed with flavor, and the Monterey chicken was perfectly seasoned. The mushroom steak (T-bone) was a standout — cooked to the perfect temperature, tender and juicy. The chicken cordon bleu and swiss mushroom burger (amazingly cooked beef patty and i swear it was not dry, it was just oozing with flavour - chef's kiss) were equally satisfying. Drinks didn’t disappoint either — the vanilla iced latte was smooth and refreshing, and the cappuccino was rich (they have a really good blend of coffee) with a perfect foam.

Presto offers an impressive range of options — from hearty mains to lighter bites and quality coffee. Steaks, burgers, pancakes, breakfast, pasta, chinese etc. - you name it, they have it. There’s something for every palate, and the thoughtful balance between comfort food and finesse really shines through.

Given the quality, portion sizes, and overall experience, the pricing is more than fair. You get real value for money — something that's increasingly hard to come by in cafés offering this level of consistency and care.

My experience at Presto was nothing short of amazing. From the thoughtfully crafted dishes to the warm and inviting atmosphere, everything was top-notch. Aizel’s exceptional service made it all the more special. It’s rare to find a place where food, service, and ambiance align this perfectly.

Pathetic experience of Iftaar at Presto. For them to call themselves a “steakhouse” is just pretentious and misleading. From the moment we ordered, things went downhill. No complimentary iftaar. We were served tang despite requesting for water and a few khajoors. Later they brought a water bottle which we did not open. Then they got our order wrong. Asked for fries with steak, they served mashed potatoes. Even tho on complaining they did serve fries. We ordered French onion steaks which were supposed to be topped with caramalized onions. The steak we got was embarrassing. The onions were almost raw. The steak had a horrible taste and the vegetables were not fully cooked. They were raw and hard. At the end, they charged us for water in the bill to which we politely informed that the bottle has not been opened. The waitress went in to get the bill fixed but came back and said ‘counter par jo banda hai woh mana kar raha hai’. We were furious. We asked her to send the person who had an issue. She went back and came back with the corrected bill and said ‘ab theek kar diya hai’. This is the second time we’ve had a horrible experience at Presto. Will never go...
