So Leños & Carbon started out as a fast on the grill food court type restaurant. Everyone was going and the lines were crazy. After much success on that front they expanded to actual restaurants and started calling them Gourmet because they would only serve higher quality cuts plus better sides. It worked.
I always get the chicken or meat cuts and this time around I went with a Punta de Palomilla, just the right blend of fat (for that flavour) vs lean meat. It arrived sizzling like always and just at the right doneness (ordered medium). The sides are good and I always enjoy them alongside the meat.
Service is spot on and you never have to worry about calling out for someone, they are always on top of water refills or making sure you are good!
