Gallardo's Steak & Grill — Restaurant in David

First off, a zero star rating is not offered for FOOD. My husband and I have been customers here for about 2 year's. We just left and most likely will not return. Just had their pasta with langostinos... I even tried cutting them with a sharp knife and it was difficult (they were extremely overcooked). The pasta was a mush. I also asked for the red sauce without cheese or anything dairy (I have severe problems with dairy). It came with the red sauce, however, covered with a thick layer of cheese. After removing the cheese, I found the overcooked pasta and langostinos. I pushed my plate aside after one bite of pasta and one bite of langostinos. When asked how we liked our food, I said, "Malo, terrible !" The waitress said, "gracias!" There used to be a manager/owner that would ask how a meal was, especially when it went back to the kitchen uneaten. I know about this gentleman because I once was so tired (after a long vacation/ flight) that I couldn't eat my food. He was very quick to come over and ask how the food was. Also, we were the only gringos and the only customers not offered a free bowl of soup. There was a total of six tables occupied and we were the only table that was not offered the soup. We are not returning...

Had a great meal tonight at Gallardo's! Pulpo de la Parilla!! Delicious! What made the evening even more enjoyable was our server, Yuri!!! For the first time in my 20+ years in Panama our server tonight came to our table not once, but TWICE! during our meal simply to ask "How is everything, Is everything okay!" I absolutely could not believe it!! I was flabbergasted!! That NEVER happens in Panama!! Nobody does that here!! But it happened tonight!! Hats off to Yuri!!! I actually felt good about leaving her a tip!! Beats being asked to leave a tip by servers who don't do a thing but seem always to jump at the opportunity when processing the tab to ask you for one! 5 STARS to YURI!!...

When I went with my dad he ordered the pork belly that looked really nice and was a nice portion. When I went by myself and ordered the same thing, it was not as nice looking and portion was clearly smaller, and was missing the limes, I had to get up and ask for them like 3 times…. I may be a small short person but I can eat more than my dad and I can tell you I was not happy about this….. good luck to you about what you get when you order, quality and amount of food is...
