La Casa Mexicana — Restaurant in David

Great casual place for lunch and enjoy Mexican style meals with a very good service experience in Chiriquí. Roofed parking around the restaurant or find parking near by the shade of a tree. Located some four hundred (450) meters South from the Panamerican Highway and the new Terrazas de David strip mall. Short distance drive from the two best private hospitals in Chiriquí. Franco's Verona Pizza Restaurant is near by too. We'll browse the Mexican Boutique every now and then aiming to find another cute souvenir to take home. Finally, a Mexican restaurant that reminds me of home, home being Washington State. I realize this is not what most would call "authentic" Mexican food. I've had that. Difference is that here they focus on presentation and taste. Very flavorful and the green sauce they put on the table is delicious! Had the Especial: tostada, 2 tacos, burrito (very tasty) and six? small corn chips, 3 in guacamole and 3 in refried beans for $8.95. Ate about half there and the other at home. For a small family sized restaurant very satisfying. I didn't use the bathroom but everything seemed very clean. The serve was attentive and bought a purse/coat tree to our table. Menus within 5 minutes and another 5 to take order. Drink within 10 minutes and meal with 15. Everything was hot and the shredded beef was fresh as was everything else.
