BBQ Topo Gigio — Restaurant in El Valle

First, we had to organize the table ourselves, which was at that point of time ok. We waited at least 20 minutes that someone takes order from us. The waitress looked like she literally saw the menu for the first time. She didn’t know what is out, so I had to choose three times the food. The order was taken incorrectly (wrong pizza and no drink) even though we showed it on the menu. We received first dish after 1,5 hour. But without cutlery and tissues. We asked for tissues three times, and at the end received them just going into the kitchen. Pizza came after 2 hours, but still with no drink. Again, they didn’t know which type of the beer they have. Food was delicious! But waiting time, really bad service made it bad experience. Invest in some service training, it’s pity you receive so bad comments with...

My girlfriend and I were so intrigued by the horrendous reviews of this place that we wanted to check it out for ourselves! Haha We ordered 2 pizzas for takeout, the service was amazing, with a smile and the pizzas were absolutely delicious. We waited for a whole 14 minutes to be on our way and the prices were pretty decent for a really good wood fire oven pizza... We don't understand what the fuss is all about... Even the cook came to say 'good evening' with a smile while I was paying. We both totally recommend this place if you are looking for...

Muy muy muy mal servicio y comida regular. Pese a las malas calificaciones decidimos darle una oportunidad a este lugar porque nos habían dicho que era del mismo propietario del restaurante del lado (casa Florencia), donde ofrecen buena comida y servicio. Al llegar el lugar estaba lleno, la persona que atendía nunca se acercó a la mesa para darnos el menú por lo que tuvimos que buscarlo nosotros mismos, transcurrieron los minutos, al ver que la salonera tampoco venía a tomarnos la orden nos acercamos al área de cocina para pedir lo que deseábamos. Un chico que estaba haciendo pizzas amablemente nos tomó la orden. La comida llegó con poca espera. Al solicitarle a la salonera la silla de bebé esta nos contestó que la silla pertenecía al restaurante por lo que tuve yo misma que ir a buscar la silla de bebé (quien parece el dueño muy amablemente la trajo a la mesa), fue bastante decepcionante que ella no buscara una solución (para aquel momento el restaurante tenía muchísimos menos comensales). Horas antes, cuando habíamos ido al restaurante del lado el salonero había ido a Topo Gigio a traer esa silla. Lo que me pareció chocante es que transcurridos los minutos no me quedó duda de que ambos establecimientos pertenecen a la misma persona y pese a eso esta señora que atiende las mesas estaba más concentrada mandando mensajes y haciendo malas caras qué atendiendo mesas o procurando un buen servicio. La comida fue regular, nada que merezca la pena repetirse. Al partir quien amablemente nos despidió fue el chico de la cocina pero no quedamos con ganas de volver a un lugar en el que claramente no somos...
