PA’ YA! — Restaurant in El Valle

Food was ok. Chicken bites were dry and some were a little burnt. Patacon Burger was nice, the seasoning was good but the meat had some hard bits in it that made eating it a displeasure. Asked for a michelada…. They gave me a barely cold beer with a glass with some lime juice, rimmed with salt… thats not a michelada…. Very disappointing. And for waaay too much money…. They don’t serve water (tap) or give complete sets of cutlery. The waitress was nice but kind of oblivious to our needs. Atmosphere was chill it took a long long looong time to come.. so their name of „pa‘ya“ meaning „right away“ does not correlate to...

The burger was nice enough, wouldn't order it again but was enjoyable. The chips were lovely. The reason for the very average review, is that I asked for pickles in my burger, they did not notify me that this would be an extra fee, but also this is fine usually. They charged me $1.50 for TWO tiny slices of pickle. I cut the burger on half so each side has one tiny slice. $1.50 for two slices of pickle, round way up, not even long slices lengthway. I couldn't believe it!...

I have no doubt that they sell the best burgers in El Valle de Antón here. I always come and choose the same one — the “Pa’ Ya Cheeses” — because it has pickles, and I love them. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection. I recommend it with my eyes closed.

My only suggestion would be to increase the portion of fries and offer other side options. Everything...
