This is a new place. I came here on a Sunday. The restaurant's decoration is modern. There is a small bakery nook for self-service cha siu bread. The food is mid for me as I grew up eating dimsum. The front service is ridiculous. They took our order and gave us tea and tea cups. We waited 30 minutes for beef chuern fun, ha gao, and Xiao long bao. It was warm, not hot! It was sitting there in the back for a long time! We waited another 15 minutes to follow up on our 2 congees, siu mai, fried dough, and simple chuern fun. We followed up again about 10 minutes later, and we got the simple chuern fun. We felt hungry, and so we went to the bakery nook and got 2 random breads since there were no signs telling us what the breads were. 1 congee came, and it didn't come with proper utensils (bowl and soup spoon). This time, we asked the manager for our order. The congee was warm and not hot! We had to follow up for our other congee and fried dough again; 3x! We sat another 5 minutes waiting for our siu mai. When we paid, they didn't even have what we ordered on the receipt! The current front staff is not enough for weekend service. The management needs to take some sort of Management Operations workshop on how to effectively manage the front. We asked 3 to 4 different staff for things we need to eat (chopsticks, bowls, extra plates, more tea). We left hungry and went to another place to eat. I would like to return again and give this place a 2nd chance to see if things...

Read moreI recently dined at Hong Kong Bakery and had a wonderful experience. We tried several dishes, including siu mai, xiao long bao, and shrimp wonton soup, all of which were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was informal yet pleasant, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. Although we visited during a quiet time and the restaurant was nearly empty, the service was still excellent. I highly recommend Hong Kong Bakery if you're looking for a spot to enjoy traditional Hong Kong cuisine in a cozy, laid-back setting...
