HES Cajamarca — Restaurant in Cajamarca

Quiet, even at 8 till 9pm. Maybe it was an indication of the price or quality. As it turned out, the beer (they only had 4 out of some 10 -15 local brews available) was the best thing about the meal.

Not that the "Champions" burger I ordered (yes, it had mushrooms and even though they were not fresh, the burger's name is even worse) was bad, it was just like the rest of the experience very stingy for what is a very expensive and very tiny meal for Cajamarca. Four sauces (sounds generous) in tiny dishes with tiny spoons, so it appears you are getting a good deal. Mushrooms on the burger aren't fresh and there were just three or four. The fries were okay, but not very tasty (fresh).

Another "hip" place that won't survive for another year. If they can get their supplies in order, they might be better off becoming a "hip" beer place. But to please the locals the prices will need to go down...

El ambiente luce bastante bien, no hay incomodidad al permanecer en el lugar, y las personas que atienden son gentiles. Incomoda un poco la demora al servir si tienes cierta premura, pero también puede ser algo positivo dado que la comida llega fresca a la mesa. Ordené una hamburguesa vegetariana (de las varias que ofrecen) y debo admitir que, para ser la primera que probé, me agradó bastante, la presentación es impecable y novedosa. Un problema que surgió al pagar es que su POS no reconocía una tarjeta que dicen soportar, lo cual alargó un tanto el proceso de pago. Por último, algo que no me agradó fue que no ofrecen boletas (al parecer sí la expiden, ojo) como en variadas tiendas. Aparte de esos inconvenientes, debo admitir que ha sido una muy grata experiencia, sin lugar a dudas...

El lugar es cómodo, tiene suficiente espacio entre las mesas como para moverse y te puedan atender rápido, ese fue un punto a favor, la atención rápida y precisa, cuentan con un aplicativo para elegir los productos de tal manera que reducen la confusión; el sitio tenía buena música, para mi gusto, con rock en español y era fresco y ventilado; las hamburguesas estuvieron muy buenas, buena cocción y la cantidad suficiente de aderezo, las papas estaban decentes, quizás podrían haberse frito más tiempo o em aceite más caliente, pero suficientememte buenas.
