900 Café Bar — Restaurant in Chiclayo

It’s my favorite spot to work - cozy atmosphere, 5G fast wifi (details below), plenty of power outlets, spacious layout, and not too crowded. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Plus they accept cards with no extra fees.

The only downside: they don’t offer eco-friendly beverage options to reduce deforestation and soil pollution from commercial coffee and cacao production. There’s no vegan milk for lattes, and while the menu has a few vegetarian dishes, there’s nothing fully vegan. In my opinion, the most eco-friendly beverage here is their infusions — they use whole leaves instead of tea bags.

Staff was attentive, extremely friendly & accommodating even though I only know very basic Spanish.

Ordered steak with cranberry sauce and rice with cheese and cream, steak with garlic sauce with special mash and two traditional pisco sours.

Both steaks were done the way we want which is medium and they were excellent. The rice and mash were delicious also. Pisco sours were very well done but strong towards the end.

Waitress checked if the food and drinks were okay each time they were served. We saw staff setting up equipment for a live performance but we didn't stay to enjoy it.

Everything is wrong about wine at this place. They didn't have the wine that we wanted. They gave us a new waiter and he was being trained right in front of us. They brought us wine half an hour later after we ordered. They didn't have a bag for wine when we wanted to take the rest of the bottle to go. The food was okay, the music was a bit too loud.
