I went following the recommendation of a local and definitely it was the best gastronomic experience I had in Iquitos.
Already on the street right before going inside, you have different options of tamales, humitas and juanes. These may look small but believe me that it fills one up.
Prices are really fair and staff very attentive. They answered all my questions about the options available and they can make good recommendations.

We went there based on a recommendation by our Hostel-lady, and were bitterly disappointed. The chicken breast BBQ was so dry, one could barely chew half of it. The fish is cooked 'a la plancha' so is not fried in oil or anything, completely healthy. Served with a boiled banana from the amazons.
