Antico Pasta & Pizza — Restaurant in La Libertad

Simply do not consider the restaurant, a true disappointment. A few years ago since our last visit and I think they change owner or simply gave up. How can you call yourself a Pizza restaurant if you make “pizza” from store bought bottoms?

At first sight, this restaurant looks amazing. Only when your order is being served it shows its true quality. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 were served not even close to warm.

But worst off all, this restaurant is going the lazy way, not serving a freshly made pizza, but just throwing cheese and whatelse, on a pre made “pizza” bottom. Just look at the photos.

Not making the effort as a pizza restaurant to make a pizza from ‘0’ makes me wonder why it is open in the first place.

Yet, not yet even mentioning the price, a true ripoff. Paying 56pen for a industrial made dough disc? Come on!

Anyway, we left without finishing any of the served food.

Very nice place, loved the decoration and just the general vibe of the place. Really good music, mostly 60s and 70s rock, and an excellent service . The food was amazing , we tried a couple of pizzas and both the vegetarian and Bolognese lasagna. If you are looking for a cozy, stylish dinner, this is the perfectct choice. En primer lugar, suele llenarse. Recomiendo hacer reservas con anterioridad, a menos que no sea un inconveniente esperar entre 20min a 40min. Probe algunas pizzas, panes al ajo y una naranjada. Las pizzas no fueron mucho de mi agrado, la masa es diferente a la mayoría de pizzerías en la ciudad, pero hace una buena combinación con una pizza con carne. Si tuviera que calificar solo a los panes, serían 5 estrellas, me gustaron mucho. La naranjada la pedí sin helar, pero la trajeron caliente. Volví a pedir otra, pero esta vez les pedí que no sea caliente y me trajeron una igual. Esta no sabe muy mal, pero pareciera que la naranja sufre y le da un sabor raro. La atención no es mala, pero supongo que por el hecho de estar copados están muy ocupados (lo cual presencié en algunas oportunidades) y no les permite ser más atentos.
