Alta Llama - Pizzería Artesanal — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We were told the wait on two pizzas would be 40 minutes, although that seems like awhile we obliged because after all it was a Friday night after Peru had qualified for the World Cup. First the manager wanted to argue with me about the exchange rate from Soles to USD, I mean it's a simple Google search, but he didn't believe Google 🤦🏽‍♀️ not that big of a deal since it was still less than $20. Now for the annoying portion, we patiently waited our 40 minutes only to be told our pizzas weren't ready, although the gentleman that ordered directly ahead of us had received his pizza at least 10 minutes prior, the excuse we were given was that he only ordered one pizza and their ingredients are fresh although I seen the prep of the tomato sauce come out of the microwave. After waiting another 20 minutes, that's right an hour for two pizzas we were starving and the pizza wasn't even that great😒 I've had better pizza from chain restaurants like Pizza Hut. Pedimos regularmente para comer en casa y hasta ahora es la mejor pizza que he probado en Lima. Tienen una masa artesanal muy buena, y los sabores son muy bien equilibrados, al menos los que hemos probado hasta el momento. La focaccia es excelente y la chica morada de ellos también una de las mejores que he probado. Los precios son justos y tienen buenas promociones, y los tiempos de entrega siempre han sido excelentes (mucho más rápido que cualquier otra pizzería que hayamos probado). Para ser Lima Perú una ciudad con muchos lugares para comer platos de todo tipo, a veces un turista agradece comer una simple pizza sin nada de adornos, solo una buena pizza igual a cualquiera en otro lugar del mundo.
