Anticuchos Bran — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We recently visited Anticuchos Bran at San Pedro 308 in Surquillo, and had a great experience! There was a line when we arrived, so we initially ordered our food to go. However, after waiting in line and realizing we couldn’t find a nearby spot to eat, the staff was kind enough to seat us. If you're planning on getting food to go, you don’t need to wait in line, but we changed our minds because dining there adds to the experience.

The anticuchos were excellent. We were a bit unsure about ordering pork at first, but it ended up being the juiciest dish! My favorite, however, was the anticuchos de corazón — tender and packed with flavor. We ended up ordering more than we could eat, but the leftovers were still delicious when we finished them later at home.

The drinks were equally impressive. Both the chicha morada and lemonade were refreshing, though I especially loved the lemonade. If you visit, I recommend having the anticuchos hot off the grill for the full flavor experience.

This place was highly recommend since I was traveling to Lima city and it wasn't disappointed. The anticuchos were tender and big portions. You can chose your anticuchos from medium-well or well done. I prefer medium well or 3/4 as they say in Lima. The sauces combined very much with the anticuchos. I asked for the rachi combo since the looks like they know what they doing and wasn't disappointed. The rachi was well marinated and had the smokery taste, loved it. El sabor de los anticuchos Bran del que estaba en Villa María por la estación María auxiliadora, lo tenía bien marcado desde aquella primera vez q fui a ese local. Pero ahora que fui al local de surquillo con esa nostalgia de ese tan rico sabor, no encontré eso. El anticucho de pollo estaba soso y seco, los de corazón el sabor estaba maquillado por fuera, ya q por dentro no tenía nada de sabor, le faltaba 🧂 sal, No queda nada del sabor que tenía aquellos anticuchos que comí en su local de villa María. Los anticuchos de cerdo estaba rico eso si, y la chicha 😗👌🏽 Llegué a las 5:00 como decía q abría esa hora en el Instagram. Local surquillo, Pero no dijeron q abrían a las 5:30. Espere 45 minutos . Luego cuando entre casi a las 6, demoró en servir las porciones. Creo q a esa hora recién calentaban la parrilla. Pelaban las papas y todo. Pero eso debería ser desde antes de la apertura para hacer más rápido la atención de las porciones por q se llenó al toque, en atenderme demoraron otra 1/2 hora más.
