De Alfredo — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Interesting place. Is not an obvious restaurant from the outside. There is an informally dressed "host" outside who looks like he just came from the beach. He welcomed me and asked me if I had a reservation and then he said he's going to look inside to see if there is availability. He then came out and asked me if I knew what type of restaurant this was to which I replied " one that sells ceviche". He then explained that they do not have other dishes which I didn't ask about and he also told me that it was a cash only place. I tried the ceviche mixto (fish and octopus) which was super fresh and tasty. The juice of it was a tad bit high on salt tho. The ceviche was missing an important nutritious supefood which is the sweet potato and the onions appeared to have been sliced by a child cooking for the first time and not a profesional chef but it gave it that homemade touch I think they are going for rather than gourmet. The serving was about 180g total which is 6.3oz (half fish and half octopus). They have a very limited selection of non alcoholic beverages and most of them come from a bottle. Hace buen rato tenía pendiente este review De Alfredo gusta pero no encanta ! La sazón de este clásico warique en santa catalina es indiscutible , buen limon, pescado A1 y una buena mano que hacen que el ceviche se saboree en modo norteño… pero aquí el primer problema , un ceviche parecido con este punto se encuentra en el norte y otros wariques limeños pero a un cuarto de precio, tal vez sea incomparable con otros locales pero el precio es exhorbitante y no por que un ceviche cueste 78 soles si no por la cantidad tan péqueña que viene en el plato , cuatro bocados y listo, tuvimos que aguantarnos para no pelear y comer como personas decentes (pedimos doble ) por el mismo precio puedo disfrutar de una experiencia fenomenal en diversos restaurantes con un ambiente realmente de disfrute. Punto aparte son sus saltados al wok, algo q muy pocos logran pero que sufre del mismo mal , la porción y el precio. Don Alfredo es un must de una vez y listo, el público al que está dirigido es distinto pero tal vez algún día elaboren una propuesta exprés y...

Muuuuuyyyyy caroooo😱😱😱 El ceviche de pulpo y lenguado, solo cuatro bocados... Y los otros platos un bocado más... Rico ni tanto.... El ambiente normal como cualquier otro sitio, la atención bastante lenta... Para lo que cobran..deben mejorar en ambientación y sobre todo en atención, agrandar cocina, más personal... Y quizá así merezca pagar lo que cobran por plato.. Lugar para ir sola una vez ... No regreso ni aunque me inviten... no es cosa del otro mundo ... Mucho aspaviento.....Salimos de ahí a comer a otro sitio 🤭🤭, porque nos quedamos con hambre... Pero si te sobra la plata y quieres tomarte fotos para decir que fuiste....
