Nice place with traditional peruvian food and drinks. The place is huge, so there is always enough space at any hour. About drinks, you can try Res or Media Res, wich is pisco with everbest, lemon and other ingredients. The special thing here is that they gave you the ingredients and you prepare your onw drink. You alsa could ask for pisco sour, chilcanos, etc. They serve good wines also, is not necesaary to buy the whole bottle, they sell it by glass also. About the food, you will find traditional peruvian food, such as ceviche, aji de gallina, causa, lomo saltado, etc. If you go there with a group of 5 people at least, is better that you ask for the traditional "piqueos", which are the traditional plates but in a small version and they serve it in only huge plate. Sometimes you will hear traditional peruvian music, specially during weekends. The hood where the restaurant is...
Read moreFrom the looks of it, large space with room after rooms of tables and tour buses that parked outside, it was destined to be a tourist trap, but it is not. That left us with no room for dessert but coffee was good. You can do a wine tasting on the same premise but we had no...
Read moreI loved the ambiance and the fact there are different areas in the restaurant, it's huge. The service it's the best I've had in Lima. El señor Armando was very nice.
My favorite thing was the Piqueo platter (can't remember the name of the one we had, but it was all cold appetizers). It is a large portion, easily for 4 people. With that and the complimentary bread I was already feeling full but we still had entrees to come.
My favorite was the "Lechón en caja china", which was roasted pork with crispy skin. I wasn't really a fan of their carapulcra. The Lomo Saltado I've had better in other places.
In general I thought this was a beautiful place and a nice one to spend time with friends. It's a bit expensive but...
