A Peruvian feast to remember Isolina was my first stop after landing in Lima, and it set the bar high. The atmosphere is lively, the portions are generous, and the flavors hit hard with traditional, no-nonsense Peruvian soul. The Muchame de Atún was fresh and flavorful, and even the Patitas en Fiambre — a dish I avoided as a kid — was surprisingly well-prepared and enjoyable. Mains like the Seco de Asado de Tira, Ají de Gallina, and Tallarines Verdes with breaded liver were bold, hearty, and delicious. We finished with Picarones, which were warm, crispy, and covered in a spiced syrup that reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Strong drinks, warm service, and unforgettable food. If you’re in Lima, this place is a must.

4,5 stars. Large dishes! A bit confusing that most plates are designed to be shared. Some dishes can be ordered as „personal“ so for one person. Pricing a bit over average of such restaurants but as said, portions are big(ger). A lot staff. Fast service. Tasty. Minor deduction from 5 stars due to ambiente: For me it was too loud (upstairs, maybe 2/3 of tables occupied). Fan, low ceiling w/o sound absorbing elements. Conversation across table barely possible in normal volume. Sometimes it smelled a bit strange/strong (the food itself smelled and tasted delicious), maybe from outside or from some special cleaning agent? A few parking slots in front of restaurant. Would go there again maybe sit downstairs

I loved this restaurant, it’s design and way to offer you plates to share. Is what a Peruvian restaurants was missing. The carapulcra, patita de mani, aji de gallina and papa rellena were delicious. Drinks were really good chicha morada, maracuyá and an alcoholic with Matacuy was extremely good. Will definitely come back.

You should definitely eat at isolina if you’re visiting Lima!! The food is amazing and the portion is GENEROUS. The waiter was also very considerate since we looked like we were struggling to finish the dishes that came out earlier, he asked us if we wanted a smaller portion. My friend is vegetarian and even though there aren’t explicit vegetarian dishes on the menu, we were offered a few dishes that could be made vegetarian. I would go back and back and back!! Even the cocktails are very...
