Los Esteros De Tumbes — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

If you are planning to eat real peruvian seafood, ceviches, jaleas, seafood soups etc. This is your place. The environment is 100% peruvian, no tourists, so they keep for themselves this hidden gem. Usually is crowded but the rotation of the tables is quick enough. And when you sit, OMG, this is the festival of flavours, best ceviche in my life, and I have been in Lima hundreds of times. Best chilcano (fish soup) in my life, jalea and chirrarrones very tasty, cooked and served at the right moment so it's perfectly crispy and warm.

The price in combination with the quality of the product is much better than other places around the area.

If you are a traveler (not a tourist, big difference) you MUST try...

Chilcano de pescado🎣 + ceviche de pescado🐟, una de las mejores combinaciones que hemos probado hasta el día de hoy... Caimos en este lugar por recomendación de varios amigos a constatar si es que con sus comentarios estaban exagerando o si era cierto lo que nos decían. Y bien, podemos decir que verdaderamente NO EXGERABAN, el chilcano es requechechecheeeee💯, un concentrado de pescado de esos que te levantan con la primera cucharada, muy rico al igual que el ceviche de puro pescado, fresco y en su punto de limón y ají. ✔️Datos adicionales: *Atención🔝: rápida y amable. El mesero estuvo muy atento a los detalles, pese a que nos hizo algunas recomendaciones, salimos de casa con nuestro pedido en mente. Te hacen la morisqueta de servirte el chilcano pues viene en una jarrita. Sentimos que le da un plus en temas de servicio este gesto. Su punto ahí😉. *Medio de pago💳: visa, mastercard, efectivo. *Estacionamiento🚙: en zonas aledañas, hay un Sr. que te ayuda a estacionar y cuida los carros. Déjale su propinón, es lo justo😎✌🏻

Very good seafood, it was delicious and the portions were big enough. Everything we tried was excellent: ceviche, arroz con mariscos and pulpo al Olivo. The service was good. The place was full (Saturday, lunch time) and we have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated, they have an indoor and outdoor area (I recommend being outside and enjoy the atmosphere).
