My Fiance and I have been travelling South America for the last 3 months and we have arrived in Lima for our last few days before flying home. Whilst walking from our hostel to Pizzeria Tio Dan we had a light-hearted discussion about what had been our least favourite meal during our time here. This was a struggle, as generally the quality of meals we've had here has been fantastic. Foreshadowing complete we arrived at the quarter full Pizzeria Tio Dan. After a long, hot bank holiday Friday we were looking forward to a beer with dinner, but alas they don't serve beer, only soft drinks and red wine (?!?) so we settled on cokes to go with our two medium pizzas, total cost 60 soles. The pizzas, when they finally arrived, were thoroughly underwhelming; clearly made using frozen bases, inconsistently cooked and topped with cheap, plasticy cheese. El servicio normalmente atento y amable. El lugar es chico y tradicional. Pizza Picadillo Comida: Presentación-Como el de una pizza de forma circula con masa gruesa sin exagerar y bastante ligera. Pedi tamaño familiar y el pan al ajo es de combo que viene 4 por porción. Textura-Suave con ligera base crocante y el pan al ajo igual. Consistencia-Firme pero un tanto grasosa y acuosa en la parte superficial por los ingredientes, por la salsa de bechamel y tomate y la falta de cocción previa para sellar la masa base de la pizza. Precio/Calidad-8 de 10 Sabor-Salado (la sal estuvo bien me refiero a que no es dulce, agrio o amargo). Satisfacción- 8 de 10 Salubridad-Ingredientes frescos y sin inconvenientes despues de comerlos. Observaciones: Pregunte al mozo si era salsa de tomate lo que llevaba, antes de pedir y me dijo que si. Cuando la trajeron senti salsa bechamel mezclada con muy poca salsa de tomate hasta inexistente. Esto lo digo por la cremosidad ligeramentr acuosa. No obstante, hubiera preferido la salsa de tomate pero se lo dejo saber para que si lo desean asi, se lo recalquen al mozo. La pizza bastante carne molida y queso delicioso pero la salsa bechamel que le senti le quitaba ese sabor unico al unico sabor del queso mozarella.
