Its my second holiday in Puerto Maldonado and for sure I'm coming back to this amazing Place the Famous Cacao Center. It's more like this. If you want to have healthy vegan vegetarian and delicious food you are in the right place. For sure there's an option for people who are not vegan or vegetarian. This cute family and animal friendly Space next to the river gives you a relaxing time to enjoy. The Shop provides you some goodies like excellent cacao products and more to take home and as a giveaway for friends and family. The staff there is heart welcoming and provides you awesome service. Darwin the Owner combines sustainability and indigenous Aspekt and products. He runs different projects like provide a chocolate workshop where you can learn to make chocolate, planting Trees, farming, providing Ayahuasca Ceremony and helping you to explore cultural and local farmers family experience in his land closed from Puerto Maldonado. It was a fantastic experience to stay there for a while and live with these people they teach me a lot. Salomé works with the communities in Puerto Maldonado on a joint, collaborative effort, and it shows in the quality and spirit of the place—the handmade items in the shop reflect care and community heritage. A special highlight was Gladis, the chef at the on-site restaurant; her dishes and drinks are in a league of their own, and her team clearly takes pride in what they do. They have an incredible passion for their mission to preserve the forest and promote sustainable harvesting of cacao, but it also has the most amazing food! You will learn so many new things about fruits, plants, and the jungle. The center over looks the Madre de Dios River. They even have a bungalow you can stay in on the Airbnb website.
