Drive thru transaction, I ordered 2 QPC meal. I gave specific instruction to make sure they do not put excessive ice on the drinks which they always did in the past. I asked the cashier Jamaica with crew ID 144 what's d standard measurement of ice and she said it's one scooper but a little less. This obviously mean she does not know the proper level of ice in a cup regardless of size. Was not happy with her answer so I just said pls make sure its the standard.
I was asked to park since she said will take 2 more minutes for fries to be cooked and served. I didn't mind waiting coz at least fries will be served hot. I checked the time and they made me wait for 5 minutes. Fries was not cooked right, not crispy at all, interior not mealy but a bit hard. Am guessing they failed to blanch it properly prior to final frying. If that is still their standard fries pre prep prior to final cooking. But I ate it anyway since I did not want to wait for another several minutes.
Fries was served with 1 drink out of 2 I ordered. I asked the server if it was coke zero and why wasn't it filled to the right level? He clarified if I ordered less ice and I said I did not. I just emphasized to the cashier to make sure its standard level since I always get at least half or 3/4 of the cup full of ice.
The server was not sure if the 2 drinks were coke zero and suggested he return both and change it with proper ice level.
In total, it took another 15 minutes before I received all my orders. It was the manager on duty Joana that served the drinks. She assumed I ordered less ice but I said clearly to serve me the standard level of ice coz I did not ask for less ice. I emphasized I am just so annoyed that the excessive ice is already becoming a norm, regardless of the branch.
In spite the fact that it was handled by manager Joana the drink level or ice level may still be wrong. When I went home, i checked the drink level and yet it was not right. So I just took a picture of it so we can proceed eating our late dinner.
This time I just can not let it slide without writing a review on Google. Mcdo app where u can write the review is not user friendly at all so I opted using the Google Map instead.
This experience of too much ice in the drink happened dozens of times, food quality and customer service (staff NOT attentive, they dont smile anymore same with the manager) has deteriorated, so maybe writing a review will hopefully help...
Read moreThe meal I ordered for takeout had a cockroach inside the box. I found it sitting on the piece of chicken once I opened it when I arrived home. Went back to the branch to show them because the cockroach was still in the box and they gaslighted me saying that it must have been a cockroach from my house when I literally just opened the paper bag as soon as I arrived home so there was no chance it would have crawled in there from my house. Took us quite a while to get a refund because the manager was still debating whether the cockroach came from their place or mine even though it was practically impossible for an insect that big to crawl into such a tiny tiny hole...

Really got disappointed with the size of my (leg part) chicken. I thought they had biggER chicken, but heck, mine was like a chicken harvested so early. Such a small chicken compared to the chicken (leg part) I had eating in the Mcdo Pamplona (Philam) Branch. I hope they make this right and do the right thing to adhere to what they had advertised.
Also disappointed with the large iced coffee with vanilla. The flavor was lacking and it was bland. Is it because Mcdo has promo deal that's why the flavor was lacking? So disappointed.
