Food plating enriches the overall dining experience by enhancing not only the taste but also the visual appeal. I'd like to give high marks to plating, which makes the food look more appetizing and more appealing. It's also an effective way to highlight the dishes, depending on the size, shape, and color of the plate.
The beer served is brewed by Weihenstephan in Germany. Weihenstephan is the state brewery of Bavaria, Germany. Founded in 1040, the Weihenstephan Brewery is the oldest and still in operation in the world. Weihenstephan also operates the largest yeast bank in the world. Weihenstephan brews a variety of beers, focusing on wheat beers, and is renowned for their exceptional taste. The "Dunkel" beer on the menu refers to a type of stout. Hefeweissbier is a wheat beer with a sweet banana aroma and a smooth, rich flavor. Dunkel Hefeweissbier is a masculine, full-bodied stout with caramel notes. Original Hell is a mild and smooth beer.
The sausage platter was just the right amount for four people. The sausages and fries paired well with the beer. The pizza dough is much thinner than regular bread. So, when baked with the toppings, the pizza dough tasted like a crispy cookie. It had a crispier and more savory texture than regular pizza.
A German dish called Schweinemedaillons consists of Grilled Pork Medallions wrapped in bacon with roasted vegetables and fries. Pork medallions are 1-2" thick rounds of pork tenderloin. They're easy to work with, cook quickly, and are super tender. Pork tenderloin is a specific cut of pork that is long, lean, and relatively thin. The trick to creating a tender and juicy loin medallion is simply not to overcook it. Cooking times will vary depending on the thickness of the meat, but tenderizing or marinating the meat beforehand and serving as soon as the dish is ready will give the best results. The pork medallions served were very tender and had a nice texture. The flavor of the well-cooked onions, cherry tomatoes, and paprika was also delicious.
The restaurant staff were very friendly and frequently asked about our needs. They also politely asked if we needed a refill whenever our beer...
Read moreThe restaurant is part of a group of retail outlets and its location can be missed. If driving towards Alabang it is on the right side with the car parking at the beginning and limited behind the Mall.
As of the 1 August 2024 they have introduced a car parking charge but if you are a senior it is free parking.
It is central on the ground floor near to the decorative fountain at the Landers end of the development.
The washrooms share a lobby area with hand basin etc amd then the male and female washrooms off the lobby section. Whilst it was clean and had a fresh smell - however it was tired looking.
The menu is quite extensive and very German in its offerings - as it should be with the name it as.
The food itself is reasonably priced and well presented, however there are other locations that are better value.
The Goulash soup was quite tasty with a nice spicy twist as expected. I followed this with the Pork / Cheese sausages and cold potato salad - not mashed potato.
Apple struddle was my preferred sweet along with a lemon and ginger cooler.
Sorry cannot comment on the beer but it seemed from others to be OK.
WOULD I RECOMMEND? - YES give it a go

Read moreWe just had to try this place for the first time tonight. The food was great, my family enjoyed almost everything we ordered . The only problem is the noise from another table by a bunch of rowdy and disrespectful young men. It’s a Sunday evening when diners are supposed to have a nice relaxing dinner .
This table of 5 men were just so loud, yelling, cussing and banging on the table as if they were the only patrons there. Everyone was just looking over them . I spoke to the Manager to ask why they were allowing the disrespectful behavior from that group of customers . He said one of them was some influencer and a friend of the owner . It was appalling !
The other diners next to me were as disappointed. I get that these rowdy group can behave like they’re in their own homes not caring for the rest of us but for the owner to allow this is unacceptable . They should have sat outside or closed the restaurant for their exclusive use …. No manners and consideration to the rest of us.
Will not recommend this...
