Cecile's Restaurant — Restaurant in 2nd District

I'm a regular customer and the food today was VERY UNSATISFACTORY. Even the PHONE SERVICE is POOR!!! -- I ordered Beef Karekare but ALL TRIPE AND FAT?! Its not like we ordered from a carinderia. The food was in the Beef category but there was not a single meat of beef. The phone lady said thats their recipe. Insisting what we ordered is what they usually serve. For that price and its a restaurant, I didnt expect theyd promote very greasy, unhealthy vegetable viand. I know restaurants with the same price as what we ordered and it was worthit-theres actual meat in it! This place has been my childhood go-to because we live nearby. Though we do not dine in, we order food for pick up and delivery. We may not be aware of what their recipe is as she insists but for a 'restaurant', serving tripe and fat is too much to not comment. I dont complain about food, we are not picky eaters as well but we are cautious of what we eat. Ordering out is suppose to be a pleasure and worthit and this time, with them, it did not meet my expectations. Its heartbreaking to throw away food but we cannot risk our health trying to finish what they delivered. Thanks for the food for the past 30yrs of my existence but...

One is not a true Las Piñeros if one does not know Cecille's Bermuda Country Restaurant. Back in the day, the place was a staple among the people of Las Piñas who traverse what was known as Real Street, which is Alabang Zapote road today. The place is well known as the restaurant across the blue grass, bermuda grass field where you buy the grass per square foot. To this day, the place serves the same nostalgic menu. However, its old patrons more often just buy food to go rather than eat them at the establishment.... perhaps as the rest of the family do not want to endure the traffic along the exit of BF Resort drive to A-Zap road or there is also the issue of parking. Nonetheless, people still come back one way or another for the food that brings back memories... 80's...

This was the place to be in the late 90's early 2000 if you love ballroom dancing. However the place stayed the way it was and has not undergone any renovation to fit the current taste and style of the current generation. Their facilities are old, like the inefficient indoor airconditioning unit and elevator. Their dining hall is poorly lit. Having said that, their food still tastes great and served freshly cooked. They have atleast 5 function rooms which can hold from 100-300 guests. They have a very spacious outdoor parking which can park atleast 40 cars which is great if you're hosting a party and never get worried if your guest will be able to find a parking.
