Lola Nena's Las Piñas — Restaurant in 2nd District

Went here through the drive thru for merienda takeout. We had to wait, and actually went back, after an hour or so because at around 3-ish in the afternoon, only pichi-pichi and donuts were available. Aside from pichi-pichi and donuts, we also bought pansit and toasted siopao. We have tried buying at the drive thru many times before but toasted siopao and donuts were not available. These incidents were around past 5pm - 6pm so it made us think they were sold out because it was late for afternoon snacks... I guess you really have to be lucky, better yet, order in advance and pick up at your convenience to save yourself from hassle. Nonetheless, Lola Nena's food almost always delivers. Pansit was not very tasty, but not too bad either. Just manage your expectations especially if you're a pansit fan...

I love this place, especially for the old fashioned donuts. Earlier today I drove thru for 3 pcs since I craved while stuck in traffic. I paid and waited for my order when they told me they would only sell me a box. I didn't even have time to ask why and just asked for my payment back and drove away. It was a bit embarrassing and why would they have it per piece on the menu if they would only sell my the box. Ruined. I don't think I'll go back after that...
