I used the Mcdo Online Delivery for two very important reasons: 1. I couldn't talk on the phone because of sore throat and 2. We have very poor mobile signal at home.
After completing my order, I did not get an email confirmation which I used to receive after filling out the order form. It was very frustrating because I had to make someone else call for me to check if my order was received. It made the transaction longer and quite cumbersome.
I specified in the online order form that I needed. Change for P1000 and it was reiterated during the phone call. My son also told the operator that I was going to use a gift cheque alongside the P1000 to cover my bill.
After 20 minutes, Mcdo delivers the wrong order and gives me the wrong change. Again, it was very frustrating explaining to the delivery boy considering that my voice was so hoarse and barely audible, that it was impossible to get a change of 250 when I gave him 1000 and a gift cheque, using simple arithmetic. After a lengthy argumentation, the delivery boy gives me my change, this time short by 100. So again, I explained he should be giving me another 100 because he took my gift cheque. So I started lecturing again on the basics of arithmetic. He finally gets it and gives me P100. I saw hotcakes s in my paper bag and returned it to him because it wasn't part of my order. When my son opened his sandwich, it wasn't cheesy egg desal with sausage but something else!
I can't understand how mcdo can get the orders wrong when all we did was click on the images from their online menu!
I can't understand either why they would call instead of email when I ordered online and previously received email confirmations. I have informed Mcdo previously that mobile signal is weak in our area and requested online confirmations only--which we have successfully done at least five times already...
